My parents used to have a static caravan here 40 years ago and spent many holidays growing up on this site. It was very basic with no amusements, poor or club house on site, literally only a field in the middle of the site , a farm at the back, a separate toilet and shower block and a beautiful village within walking distance. Maybe not suitable for energetic families nowadays though I have some amazing memories and made fantastic friends and wish I could relive those days. You don't need to spend money to have fun. Seeing recent photos of this site sadens me as looks too modernised with holiday homes rather than caravans. This site is a short drive to Thanet coasts and Canterbury and a beautiful hours walk to Minnis Bay.

A member of my family live on this park which is made up of approx 14 Park homes with the possibility of an another 4 being installed at a later date.
We regularly visit here and the only real problem is the entry and exit off and on to the busy thanet way with traffic travelling at speed.
Friendly community spirit where everyone helps out each other mostly retired homeowners with an on site manager (Nice bloke).
Rear access gate to enable short walk to local village with all most important facilities post office, shop and pubs.

I witnessed a older couple being threatened by another resident on site, the younger man and what I presume was his father younger guy was In his 30s and didn't actually live on the site was threatening to punch the older man all because he'd be asked to move his vehicle so that the couple could get the car out. grounds man did nothing about and the company didn't give a toss about the situation it and left the older couple very shaken, how dare you let this .after slide. Very clicky place to be if you don't fit in you obviously get bullied out! 😡
