The food was excellent, I got a large strips box with the mango habanero sauce and some Cajun tots. Full of flavour, great texture on the chicken. Would love to try some more flavours and maybe even the boneless thighs as they looked like they might be quite nice too.

The staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was fantastic.

I managed to win the 2 second game, so that was a lot of fun. I would be more than happy to come back and buy more chicken any time I'm in Bristol.

Always had Gurt Wings when I’ve been in Bristol. Now they have a restaurant it’s even better.
Josh and his team looked after us so well. The food was incredible and you can get cocktails too which were amazing.
We also had to buy the signature sauce 👌 we live in the Midlands and it’s definitely worth the trip down.

Gurt wings is incredible. The portions might seem small on paper but they are not, and you will struggle to finish your meal. The tater tots are perfectly crisp and go incredible with any of their dips, and the chicken is the best I’ve ever had. Customer service is great, I recently came in for a birthday meal, and despite being closed due to a technical error the manager was kind enough to give me a free sauce bottle and beer for me and my partner. Their generosity doesn’t stop there though, as I have often found an extra wing or bit of chicken in my meals. I genuinely could not recommend their food and service more.

Not many places I go with my husband that he actually wants to return to, but he and the kids love Gurt Wings just as much as I do 😋 Fantastic fried chicken (best in Bristol?), tater tots, cheese stix (that are the biggest I’ve ever seen) and I love all of the sauces. Think the the garlic mucker and ranch are my faves although husband loves the Chinese style with the ‘popcorn’ chicken.

Staff are very friendly and there’s a great vibe. They now have kids meals at only £5.95 so we’ll definitely be back as a family in the summer holidays.

And yes I’ll agree it is a little ironic that someone who doesn’t like chicken wings (don’t shoot me folks) loves a place called Gurt Wings as much as I do.

Just goes to show there’s more to Gurty than ‘just wings’!!

I am glad that Gurt Wings are not located in Cape Town or I would have an addiction to them! The best we have had outside of the USA and Canada. They are a good size, delicious, moist and crunchy and the sauces and toppings are so good. We tried the Buffalo and blue cheese and BBQ and baconnaise, both were hits. The tater tots (crispy fried mashed potatoe balls) were a nice change from fries. The staff were smiley and welcoming and the undercover tables outside the restaurant clean and inviting despite being on a roadside location. The evolution of Gurt Wings from market stall to trucks and restaurants is a happy story. Highly Recommended.

Amazing Wings, Strips and Squeaky Cheese! We had a bit of everything with the Garlic Mucker, Gurt Ranch and Lost in Translation flavours across the different items and it was all 10 out of 10. Actually ordered too much for 2 so had the rest later! They currently do lunchtime meal deals which makes it super affordable too. Seating was fine, staff were super helpful! Would recommend to anyone who loves chicken and wants more than just standard flavours.
