The worst experience of anyone in the legal system ever! My father was a barrister & he must be turning in his grave right now knowing how badly a fellow legal “professional” is treating a member of his own family. This company are by far the worst that I’ve ever had the misfortune to deal with and I’m only dealing with them because they were appointed by my insurance company. I am on my 3rd case handler, the portal is appalling, they don’t respond to anything. Their direct phone numbers are a waste of time, they don’t pick up voicemails and they also intermittently respond to emails. I have just submitted a formal complaint because I can’t report them to the Legal Ombudsman until I’ve been through this process. Their level of customer care is non existent, they don’t care. I just want my claim settled now, I don’t think that’s much to ask. I’m 2 years in, treatment all finished but trying to get updates from them is impossible. I’m not asking for a daily update just to know where we are, but apparently that’s not for me to know! Avoid this firm of solicitors at all costs.

This law firm has put us through hell, as my insurance company legal firm was Lyon’s Davidson, they wasted years on my case with false promises. They first said we have a case and can pursue this then after being ignored by the main case handler, another senior staff took over and promised to draft a a legal document to the defendant but failed to do so. Instead he closed the case. so many years wasted and the stress me and my partner been through with this firm then to be told after years of coms we don’t have a case!

I had a motor accident claim that was not my fault and I was very well looked after by James Chapman and Rhiannon Frowde getting the claim to court, preparing and having the claim judged in my favour leaving my record of faultless driving since I passed my test at 18 years old completely intact. Thank you, James and Rhiannon for looking after me, over and above any expectation that I had.

Clearly don't due enough due diligence on their cases as they submit court orders against the wrong people. I have received a money claims against me, rather than the correct defendant. Now having to spend hours of time trying to sort out their mess even though I'm a completely innocent party.

Update 20/5/24 - Was promised to be kept up to date, but wasn't and had to chase for information. Had to ask multiple times for an apology for wasting my time and stress it caused. Really poor customer experience and in this situation was incompetent at case management.

Many thanks to Mindy Samra at Lyons Davidson who represented us in our claim against another motorist following an accident in April 2022. A totally efficient process carried out in a timely manner - my husband and I were thoroughly informed and and briefed ahead of our scheduled court case.
After 18 months with less than 24 hours notice the virtual court case was firstly adjourned, then struck out. Amazing amount of work behind the scenes by Mindy a true professional, whose attention to detail and support we greatly appreciated.

No stars should be an option Absolutely horrendous from start to finish,never updated on any steps in my case it was always me phoning them after not hearing off them for months, my case has been going on for nearly a year and a half for a non fault motoring accident, liability was accepted around 8 months ago i asked on several occasions to be kept up to date with what was happening and didn’t hear a thing, you just get passed from pillar to post, Lyon’s Davidson isn’t only the worst solicitor I’ve ever had to deal with they’re the worst company PERIOD!!!… even now my claim has been settled Lyon’s Davidson has received my compensation yet I’m still to see any money after it sitting in their account for over a week I was told I would receive this direct in to my account as a bacs payment still waiting. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
