I went to this branch with my wife and I must say the customer service we received was excellent. We spoke to a lady called Sharon and her customer service was first class! She answered all our questions and queries. She welcomed us with a warm reception and gave us a chocolate box. Eventually.... Mary was very helpful, but senior management couldnt manage the proverbial in a brewery. Three staff twiddling thumbs as could only give out cash (although branch has cash points for that), while two staff dealing with more complex and longer queries, resulting in long queues. Management clearly has no regard for customer service.... in line with philosophy of bank as a whole

Worst experience I've ever had my partner and I opened a joint account and wanted to amend the spending limit as the account was meant for bills. So I took a day off from work to sort it as did he went into the branch and was told to call customer service then called customer service who told us to speak with Cora the online ai chat spoke to Cora who told us to go in branch. So we'll be going in branch tomorrow to withdraw our money and close the account. Please stay clear of NatWest we'll be trying Santander instead as we've banked with them before and never had a problem. If I could give a zero I would customer service is shockingly terrible it's like they don't want any customers .

Natwest was great before. Not now, I asked staff at this branch for my bank statements to be sent out every month. Which did happen and then all of a sudden it went to quarterly. No one listened to me so I decided enough was enough I'm switching to another bank and close my account down. Natwest were brilliant before not now absolutely rubbish ?.

Our experience of this branch is vastly different from the other reviews. We were met by a lovely individual who sorted out our problem and discussed the window washing situation due to the new tram lines. I would highly recommend this branch.

What's happened to Natwest? What's happened to customer service? They couldn't even complete a simple request of giving me a bank statement covering requested dates. The supervisor talks to her staff like they're dogs, which is how they speak to customers. It's not just this branch either. Account closed today.

Turned up at 9.35 as branch opens at 9.30. Watched the whole branch having an open floor meeting through the glass doors but they refused to open up. They just looked at me almost smugly.
Took zero effort to open up on time, zero to acknowledge a customer and showed complete disdain for myself and another guy waiting outside. Finally left after 9.40. Still not open

It's no surprise NatWest receives poor reviews with such appalling customer service from their staff. Today, I visited their branch at 2pm, which was empty. Despite approaching the lady at the entrance, I was ignored until I greeted her. I explained I wanted to change my name after marriage. I was then asked if I have any proof of marriage, I only had my passport. but didn't have my marriage certificate. Although another staff member attempted to help, the front desk lady rudely shouted across the room about checking the marriage certificate, making me feel belittled. While I understand their policy, the lack of professionalism and respect in their customer service has led me to consider switching banks where I'll be valued as a customer.
