I visit SBI atleast once a year to provide documents for my mom and my experience has been a hit and a miss. However, I visited the branch recently to open a UK Bank account for mom. The branch has undergone some refurbishment and a change in aesthetics which is a welcome change. This seems more organised. We met Shikha Sharma during our process who was very polite, well mannered, engaging and respectful from the word go. She explained us the process step by step, help us decide the type of account for our circumstances and helped with all paper formalities. We are in and put of the branch in half an hour. That was not all, Shikha even kept us informed of all steps, potential timescales of each and any further requirements by email. She answers her email queries that I sent, swiftly. Excellent customer service. Such a breath of fresh air. SBI you need more people like her to improve customer service standards. Well done SBI and absolutely well done Shikha.

I wished to open an ISA account for my wife and I and after waiting just a few minutes we were introducing Dylon.

He assisted us in opening account and was very helpful and polite. He also offered and made me a very nice cup of welcome coffee.
