Let a claim drag on for almost a year before we escalated to the ombudsman (claim still not fully settled).
They are reluctant to challenge the insurer on policy wording (in case they lose insurance commissions), effectively acting for the insurer rather than the client (who pays their salaries!)

And also charge high amounts of commissions when arranging insurance.

I would advise getting alternative quotes and asking for the commission charges in advance so you know what you're getting.

I have been using Abaco only for a short while but I have found them very helpful.I was recommended to use them by a friend- a fellow Buy to Let landlord.They understand the cover that I need and seem to come up with the right cover at the right price,they are getting all of our properties gradually into a portfolio so this should save on admin.Tara is always helpful and responsive to all of my questions.I hope that if we ever did have a claim that they would provide good support.
