I spoke to a charming lady named Jayne as many other converts seem to have done. It was like talking to a good friend about my car insurance.
She was very relaxed about all the individual aspects of my particular case. Nothing was an issue or something she wasn’t equipped to handle. All the usual extras like breakdown and legal cover were extremely competitively priced as was the main premium. I saved 42% over the renewal quote from my current insurer. The underwriters are also of high quality, with my new policy being with a company already previously known to me.
I shall be back in touch with Jayne when my others policies fall due. In summary: the best insurance customer-service experience ever!
Update: Jayne and her colleagues have been fantastically helpful as far as establishing an increased agreed value. I am certain this new valuation would provide the best chance of replacing my car should the unimaginable occur. Top-tier customer service yet again!

I spoke to Stuart at Abbeyfields upon recommendation from the Oldskool Ford car club. I was looking to insure my modified Mk1 Escort and wanted an agreed value Classic Car policy , Stuart was absolutely brilliant to deal with and took the time to listen to me when discussing the cars mods and my requirements for cover. He then found me a brilliant policy at a really good price and the exact guaranteed agreed value that I'd asked for . I also approached Coops , Hagerty and Adrian Flux - but Abbeyfields knocked spots off all of them regarding customer service and policy cost. I'd wholeheartedly recommend them and will definitely speak to them when my 'normal' vehicles are due for renewal.

Having insured our three classics through one of the major names in the market for several years, I became unsatisfied with their approach to "market values" and ever escalating policy costs. Having read about Abbeyfield Insurance in our club magazine, I decided to give them a call to get a alternative quote. I spoke to a gentleman named Stuart Moore who was very helpful and responded quickly with a very competitive quote and much more realistic agreed values for all our cars. Needless to say, we have now taken out our next 12 months policy through them.
