Properties are very nice but do not opt into Reposit unless you are willing to pay £60 to dispute unfair end of tenancy fees. I was sent a fee for standard professional cleaning because my room was not in a brand new - never lived in condition. There is no way I can get it to that condition without professional equipment, but Abode knew that and sent me the fee anyway to reduce their costs. You're better off with the regular tenancy deposit scheme because at least if things go sideways, you won't have to pay for an adjudication.

Miss Saskia did her best to keep me satisfied which Iam greatfull for. Sometimes it took time to get things sorted, but I am happy with the agancy service overall. That was good experience, recommend! 🙂

Good response and intent from Jo wren while I was having a property viewing though she wasn’t informed about my viewing schedule. She was so generous and did a very good job overall.

Absolute appalling company. Would AVOID at all costs. I rented a property from abode in November that I was assured would be a long- term let on the day of viewing. After 2 weeks, large black patches of mould began to show through the fresh paint work which progressively got worse. The property had mould in the bedroom, kitchen, both bedrooms and the cellar. After asking for the problem to be fixed on various occasions I then arrived home to a section 21 through the door with no prior warning after only living there for 4 months. Many of my daughters belongings were left ruined, contaminated by mould and damp. Abode assured me they had no prior knowledge of the mould, however a professional roofer who came to view the problem advised me this was not a new issue. After an inventory took place at the property Abode still didn’t address the issues of mould and damp and instead complained about the property not having a professional end of tenancy clean. I have reported the company to trading standards.

She was very friendly and welcoming, and showed me all around the property. She was very knowledgeable and gave me all the information I needed - including of the surrounding area. She even helped me plan the quickest journey to my office from the property, which I am incredibly grateful for. Many thanks for a fantastic and comprehensive viewing of the property. 🙂
