We live not too far away from Ramsgate but like staying the night there every so often as we love the old architecture and the beach and the surrounding areas. We have visited the Albion House Hotel several times for drinks and lunch but this was the first time we have stayed as a room was available at the last minute when we decided to go again for the night to Ramsgate.

The hotel is in a fantastic location and we love the history and the decor of the building. The only room available was one at the top of the building which was a bit of a climb but we had a lovely sea view and while it was small it was sufficient for us on this occasion. The bathroom was surprisingly large. The only downside I would say is the general lighting in the room (not enough to read by for instance). The manager/main receptionist helped with the general lighting in the room by bringing a standard lamp up several flights of stairs! We also felt the lighting in the restaurant was a bit too dark. We like ambient lighting but I did have a bit of trouble seeing my food and asked for an extra candle.

We had dinner and breakfast both of which were delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

We shall definitely return!

Lovely boutique hotel. Very helpful staff particularly Dasha without whom we would have booked elsewhere. Fantastic customer service - nothing was too much trouble thanks to Dasha. Room great with lovely views. Excellent location of hotel. Breakfast delicious served in a very pleasant environment. Thoroughly recommend this place and we have stayed in some of the best hotels in Europe.

We hired out Albion House for our small family wedding and it was perfect. The hotel is a beautiful Georgian building with views over the harbour and the beach. The bridal suite and all the rooms on the first floor are huge and nicely decorated. Our guests were very excited to be there. We really enjoyed having the stunning rooms to use for our celebration.|The food was really high quality and the service was friendly and professional. Morgan, Peter, Claire, Tara and Nick were all great and made us feel very well looked after. A fantastic experience.

This is a great small hotel in a good location near the sea front and harbour.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The restaurant provides a very good evening meal menu and the fully stocked bar has a good selection of wines.
It doesn't have a lift and the plug sockets in Room 11 were awkwardly placed.
It is a dog friendly hotel.

It’s rare to find a hotel that provides everything you need, in a quiet but professional way, and at the same time having great views and wonderful staff. Albion House has it all and more. This hotel is a gem. From check in to check out the service is impeccable, and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are beautifully furnished, the beds and pillows are wonderfully comfy and the staff are attentive and thoughtful. A big thank you to Dasha Tara and Liam and a special thanks to Nik who went the extra mile for us. You are all so appreciated.

Amazing location, facilities and staff. Cannot recommend higher. I went on a business trip but with partner and dog in tow. It ticked all the boxes. Easy access to the town, seafront and beach. Furthermore next to a small park for easy dog walks late at night. If you don't eat in loads of restaurants even out of season.

What a beautiful setting for Sunday roast.|Lovely bottle of Sicilian organic whit £24.|We both had the vegetarian Wellington which was amazing but wish there had been a little bit more. Roast potatoes were crispy and delicious. Roast carrots and creamy greens with a large Yorkshire pudding. All freshly made and hot. Delicious gravy too. We ordered cauliflower cheese on the side for 2 for an extra £5....we sat by the window in lovely velvet armchairs....the dogs were welcome. In fact most of the tables had dogs. We will be back. Thank you Dasha for being such an attentive and happy hostess...We sat for a while afterwards....Great chilling atmosphere. |12% gratuity is included too.|Highly recommend.
