My local shop … great selection of essential items. Excellent wines and beers. Fresh meat, fruit and vegetables available and at a good quality.

How Aldi keeps winning cheapest supermarket beyond me. This is the only close local place for me to shop and it's awful. Aldi stores are too small, very limited range, especially at Christmas when so much space is used I can't even get a basic crispbread. No cheap eggs anymore, constant empty shelves, damaged cans etc. Prices continually going up, some things almost a 100%. Tesco and Asda cheap ranges so much better than Aldi. The silly middle shelves are just a waste of time, would be better with larger range of groceries.

Bought 5 bottles of this wine, got charged £3.99 per bottle at the till while pricing indicates £3.89 Beware of non disclosed price rises. They couldn't honour the posted price so took the hit. But bad show Aldi.

I have been going to this store since it opened. So I think it has saved me £1000’s on my food bill over this time. Not only that the staff are all lovely and friendly. Checkouts are quick and efficient, just what you want when you have finished your shopping. . The range of products is getting better all the time. My only constructive criticism is the parking - it is one way and it would be great if everyone adhered to that system or it could be enforced in some way.

Thank you to all the lovely staff who looked after me on Friday 8 December. I got to the checkout and started to feel quite unwell as if I was about to faint. I asked for help from a member of staff who got me a chair and a glass of water. Meanwhile the unloading of my trolley was completed and put through the checkout. Another member if staff packed my bags for me. When I eventually felt well enough to leave, I paid for my shopping and was accompanied to my car and my shopping was put into my boot for me what excellent service. Thank you. (It was actually Thursday 7th when I visited but doesn't alter the fact that the staff went over and above their duties to help me).
