Professional and very helpful. Back in the summer of 2012 I was a first time landlord looking for an managing agent who would help from start to finish with finding me a tenant for my property in Guisborough and the ongoing management. They organised the EPC, gas safety certificate, rent collection, inventory and viewings, which saved me time.

A friend of mine on facebook had asked their friends to recommend a letting agent and there were several to avoid, but the majority recommended Alexander James, some where tenants themselves, which speaks volumes for the service Alexander James offers. Although they work for me as the landlord, I have confidence that they look after tenant needs, which in turn enables me to forget about the property and let Alexander James deal with any maintenance queries from the tenant.

I could not recommend Alexander James enough. I have a happy tenant in Guisborough and I am now looking for a second property. I will be in contact with Alexander James to find the new tenant.

AWFUL !!!! rented a flat through Alexander James we paid on time every month and kept the flat spotless. The flat in would not keep the heat in, was really noisey all you could hear was road noise and people coming out the club and could hear doors slamming all day. When we left we cleaned the flat top to bottom. When he came to inspect he was fine with the condition we left it in. He then said he needed to speak to the landlord. We then recieved a phone call saying everythings fine but we need to clean the tiles in the bathroom and the oven which was fine with me i asked him when i could do it. He then said he would take £10 out of our bond to cover it and the landlord would clean it i was happy to do this. We then recieved a call the next day asking for £100 out of our bond as the Landlord spent 5 hours cleaning which is impossible in a one bedroom flat which was left immaculate.They only did this as they knew we couldnt get out of paying. The landlord was a solicitor and we didnt stand a chance. If i knew they were going to charge £100 i would of went round there all day myself. who gets paid £20 an hour. DISGUISTING do not rent through this company !!!!!
