Had a few incredibly concerning interactions with them. We've paid our premiums in full for 6 months, I submitted one £250 claim and they have now tried to decline it over 'technicalities'. We've exchanged many, many emails and just the time and effort of this has been draining. Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere.

I have been exceptionally happy with my experience of April International.

From our initial contact with the company, the sales rep Adam, has continued to support our family, even helping to process claims and contact the relevant departments.

They have paid promptly for all claims made, and my family has felt more secure during our time abroad knowing that we have emergency evacuation cover and second opinion services.

I have been a more than satisfied customer for 3 years, and will continue to use them.

We have had April International since May 2023 for the family and just terminated our contract. It takes much more than the three days advertised on the phone to process a claim but more importantly the time spent to fill claim forms is necessary and doctors find it cumbersome as well. We were told claim forms were not necessary for small amounts but in practice they ask for it. Finally, the would find any excuse not to pay for the claim. As a result we felt our family was not well covered and decided to move to Allianz which so far has been much more reactive and professional

Awful company. They will do anything to get money out of you. I tried to call multiple times to cancel my policy with no response. Due to their lack of response I was unable to cancel. My policy then automatically renewed (without them informing me) and they are now charging me for a policy I did not use.

Very disappointed with their service. They take time to process reimbursement , it’s been over 15 days now and i still haven’t received anything. I’ve sent emails after emails, all they say is they will prioritise my file but nothing happens.
