Store is OK, could be cleaner but my issue today was member of staff who shouted at the top of their lungs (at least 8 or 9 times) at a deaf older lady cos she went through a "no entry" sign - not exactly creating an international incident!. Late morning, midweek your clientele is naturally going to be more of the retired population and most people stopped to see the commotion and wondering what crime warranted hollering at a CUSTOMER - not acceptable any age group either. Apparently an individual of massive power (a section leader...oooh!) that showed no remorse and admitted would do it again! RUDE!

FYI - I visited this Asda store on 23rd September 2024 - it seems on par with most other Asda stores for food - though i don't use it often enough to say that for sure - but just wanted to say toilets are no longer available.
They appear to be being refurbished.
All of them !!
So if these kind of facilities are essential to you i recommend you go elsewhere to shop. I had to run up to KFC - in the high street - to find a 'public' toilet - which should not really be necessary. No word on how long these 'improvements' will take.

I don't like to be negative, but a couple of issues are worthy of feedback. Namely, some of the overhead signage does not tally with the items in the aisles and the cat food is in two different aisles; Quite often, there are no baskets by the entrance (understaffing?): The toilets are currently closed off by some builders' barriers and have been for some time, with no indication of why or when the situation will change.
On the positive side, the obviously hard-working staff I have dealt with are pleasant and helpful and another plus for Asda is they do not operate two tier pricing (a blatant rip-off for those not possessing a Club Card) which seems to be taking hold elsewhere. Long may they keep the present arrangement!

Staff seem decent and pleasant enough in store, but mixed outcome on the department for online grocery reliability that's just my anxiety.

Only thing that bugged me was the/or a manager (think it was the manager) calling me "ma'am" several times despite asking politely not to be called that (habit for some folk I know) I identify as non-binary/agender/non conforming.

Had a call back, issue seems resolved the one who called me back was pleasant, polite and apologetic. He's assured me this driver won't handle my deliveries again.

The delivery driver responsible for my Saturday 20th January 2024 delivery, was early and didn't communicate or notify us of such...hopefully he'll learn from this.

I rushed home to be in for the delivery only to discover it was stacked in the basket cases that they come in in the delivery van outside my front door! Had a call with someone today, Monday 22nd January and things have been discussed regarding this.

I have been issued a full order refund for this so there is that.

Phone staff general phone lines were sympathetic and nice even with the few slip ups calling me something I don't like.

Seems a bit hit and miss but overall seems OK and hopefully will be.
Will update if necessary.

Would be nice if delivery drivers phoned to check if customers are in because my latest delivery (23rd April 2024) is 45 minutes early I might not have been in.

Staff are very helpful but my issues are they seem to have low stocks or the prices are misleading. You think you getting something at a price cut but when you scan it's full price. Also some of the self scan tills will scan rewards card but does not add this to the app. This only happens at this Asda.

My First time shopping within this ASDA branch for around 7 years. It used to be clean professional and organized. On entering this branch yesterday. Even before I entered through the doors there was a scruffy possible homeless drug addict harassing customer's for money. And other's on push bike's speeding around intimidating customer's. When I entered ASDA. I can not describe it in any other way but state it looked and smelt worse than a 3rd world grocery store. A complete disorganized mess. There used to a high class standard to this branch. I suggest whoever is responsible for this travesty goes to Morrison's tesco or LIDIL within Welling down the road. They are clean professional & welcoming. And they take pride in everything they do. Sort it out or I'm sure ASDA will be nothing but an unpleasant memory.
