Went into shop this morning usual Friday morning shop, offer 2 boxes of sweets with coupon reduced from £9 to £5, what a con, purchased charged £9 went to customer service only to be told the coupon apps not working!!!!!!! Despite being a loyal customer.

Shelfs half empty and only 2 tills open. This store is definately going downhill. Its such a shame. I tried to get cough medicine for my poorly Mum but the shelfs were bare. Whats happened to this place?

Not as good as it used to be, they changed trolleys back to being locked (no notice of this change), so didnt have a pound, asked kiosk for change, but wouldnt do it even though till open and I had coins and not a large note! Poor customer service. Had to wait for a supervisor, gave up in end waiting ans she took too long, and lady customer took pity on me and gave me the pound. Also shelves often empty despite trying on different days and never enough tills open for big shops! Thinking of going to Aldi but I love the Asda app.

[updated review] - looks like things have improved quite a bit. Shelves much better stocked most of the time.

Staff are lovely so begrudge giving 1 star. So this review is no reflection on them. But this store is in a terrible state. There is never anything on the shelves and it’s getting worse. Always no fruit, medicine, meat products, frozen, crisps and also movie and games section where it’s clearly they don’t bother with as nothing ever up to date. I hardly ever shop there and now use sainsburys. But every now and again I’ll pop in either hoping it has got better or just forget. But went in today and and couldn’t get 2/3rds of the stuff on a basic shopping list of only about 15 items.

It needs to be sorted out.

I'm not a fan of Asda anyway and half the shelfs were empty and the layout is all over the place, it's a bit depressing in there to be honest.

Stock trollys everywhere but no stock where it should be like no clotted cream, and nothing looks appealing it's like a grab and go shop.

I hate the colour scheme of that awful green colour it's outdated and I try avoid it anywhere and going there was a reminder of why .

I politely asked if I could change a £10 note for some change, a supervisor (I presume that’s who she was) aggressively told me ‘we’re not a bank’ which I replied, I understand that but I just needed a few £1’s and a £5 note if possible whilst the till is open, she replied ‘no we’re not a bank’ then turned her back and walked away. Absolutely terrible woman, so rude, aggressive and the worst customer service! Whilst Asda is not a bank, is it not just a nice normal thing to do? A humanly, kind thing to do? She was disgusting.
