We were first time buyers back in 2014 and bought our house back in using the government help to buy scheme. We intended on paying it back sooner but life had other plans. In May this year (2024) we set to work on paying back H2B loan by remortgaging our house with additional borrowing. We approached Aston and Smith's based on recommendations from both friends and family. An advisor named Andrew dealt with our case and provided us with a professional advice in a welcoming manor. Given current interest rates Andrew managed to secure a competitive deal for us, providing us with several options and strategies for our remortgage. As both my partner and I have young children and work full-time, time is at a premium for us so for Aston and Smith's to take care of us it removes a big chunk of the stress involved. We also used them to secure a new life & critical illness policy. I cannot recommend them enough and in 5yrs time will seek to secure our next fixed rate through them.
