Had a fantastic day with my dad and brother. 90 min tutorial with Ben who is clearly a very knowledgeable and accomplished trout angler, but also a friendly and welcoming host. We missed a few and pulled out of a few but did catch some nice rainbow trout and took one home for the table that was delicious. Nice pub 5 mins walk for lunch, and co-op just opposite so everything you need. Beautiful little fishery.

Absolutely fantastic venue run by extremely knowledgeable and pleasant people. Nothing is too much for Ben. You can pay by cash or card which is extremely convenient plus Ben has a range of flies that you can purchase on site. Myself as a complete beginner sometimes struggles with casting as there are a lot of trees and shrubbery around which makes for an incredible natural environment but also a challenge for an inexperienced fly fisherman like myself.

I have been fishing bank house for the best part of 20 years now. Fishery is a lovely setting and great fish to be had. The main reason for the review is to say how pleasant and nice the owner is. Always a smile on his face, sociable and great customer service skills. Sometimes it is these basic qualities that do not cost a penny that matter the most. Hence why i still come back.

We went fly fishing here, it was an amazing experience. Greeted by the owners little dogs who seemed to be more excited than us 🙂

We spent 4 hrs here and got a few catches as well. Not bad for novices.

What a beautiful idyllic fishery and Ben the owner is such a pleasant bloke, very very knowledgeable and in such a stunning location, I didn't catch a thing but the experience was next to nothing, I would rate this place 10 +++, I can't wait to go again, my mate who I went fishing there caught a lovely brownie,

Hi , I visited bank Bank House Fishery today , very nice fishery well kept lawns and ample parking , very helpful advice on flies and through a five hour session , had three good trout , all fell off the hook and were not Able to be landed , the last was possible plus on the large size , a very good day and I will return next week , There were plenty of fish jumping and the owners had a delivery of trout early afternoon , 5 stars

First time fishing on this pond an caught my first rainbow trout 4lb ish would have like more, but ive learned a bit from the local fishermen so hopefully next time i may get a brown trout
