I visited the Bath branch of Barclays today, where I needed help with my mobile banking app. I spoke to Sarah Williams who was really helpful and patient and resolved this and other issues which I needed sorting out. She was also really helpful to my dad by helping him to rearrange some of his accounts which she suggested would benefit him. This was really great customer service and I would definitely ask Sarah for help again in the future.

This venue, like most banks, has mixed reviews.

This reviewer experiences both in business and domestically. while lamenting the closure of branches nearer to home, it has been mostly agreeable.

Staff reductions have not diminished customer satisfaction at this time.

This branch is well in pedestrian areas and parking is a few minutes walk away - even when it's available. Bath is not known as a car friendly environment.

We went to open a saving account. The blonde short hair lady wasn't welcoming at all and ask us questions like "why you don't open it in your own bank?" In kind of a rude way and I don't think that is relevant at all as we just wanted to have a secondary savings account in another bank.
We explained that we were looking for a savings account with better interest rate as they offer 2 per cent in our Bank and she said "we only give 1.6", no explanations, no service, almost saying without words"I'm not interested".We ended up going to Metrobank and they were lovely and didn't ask silly personal questions and made us feel welcomed in the branch. Maybe some staff training will be helpful

The service on a Saturday is rubbish. Everything is automated. What is the point of having staff there. No one is available on the till. You need to improve your customer service. I was really disappointed in this store.
