Batchley Road Post Office - Redditch

The post office at Batchley is just dreadful purely because it always seems to be shut! So many times over the years I have popped in to use it only to find it closed for stock takes, staff shortages, staff meeting etc. It has recently been taken over and now it seems to be even worse, as it seems they are now only open 8am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Gone are the 7am to 7pm and weekend openings. For anyone working Monday to Friday that is totally unusable.

Avoid this post office if you can unreliable service ..Edit walked in today to be told post office closes at 3pm website says 8-8 but apparently it's really 10 to3 except when they cba ..meh more fool me for trying to use local services. Previously walked in to be told post office was closed and would open at 3pm even though again website said post office was open. Waited around till 3 to then be told there would be a 5 minute delay, 20 minutes later having watched others come to access the service and give up in fustration I was able to handover a package and get the tacking number scand. A self service option would be ideal because the inperson service is lacking. Upside the people in the queue were able to laugh at the absurdity of the situation because its always awful here.

I walked down at 2:45pm I got told we’re shut..closed at 2:30pm, when I said your website says you’re open until 8pm, her poor attitude just replied..yeah we’ve changed the hours.

I suggest Batchley post office…that you update your actual opening hours..and employ staff that have some kind of customer manors…poor poor!!!

Checked on the website..it clearly sates that the post office is open until 8pm, so I walked down at 4:45 to be looked down the nose at by a member of staff, before I’d even opened my mouth to say can I return this parcel please..I got told we’re shut..closed at 3pm, when I said your website says you’re open until 8pm, her piss poor attitude just replied..yeah we’ve changed the hours..

I suggest Batchley post office…that you update your actual opening hours..and employ staff that have some kind of nice, customer understanding and maybe even some manors…a poor poor effort at being a post office that people would actually like to use…your an embarrassment to yourselves

Worst post office ever went down to get a first class stamp just to be told they had closed at 14:00pm and won't be open until 15:00pm and yet the website had a sign in the shop says 08:00am until 20:00pm. What's the point in having a post office if they aren't going to be open and this sort of thing happens alot and there was 2 staff on the tills, there was no sign saying they are closed from 14:00pm until 15:00pm

Says open online, went in and was told it was closed. They said it was open 8-3 everyday.
But reviews say they aren’t open till 9,
When I left they then shouted they were open 8-2:30
Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere

Says online the post office is open at 8. Only to be told its opening at 9. Its now after 9 and 4 of us are still waiting for them to open. Lady at the normal till not bothered about the online time which a customer suggested be changed. Her response 'we can't change it'

Went at 2.39pm to be told the post office shut at 2.30 to come back at 8am yet clearly states shuts at 8pm absolute rubbish
