We go out once a month - two couples and over the years have been to a wide variety of pubs and restaurants across East Yorkshire. Today we had the best meal ever! The food and service were excellent! We can particularly recommend the salmon - moist and tasty served with a variety of fresh veg. and also steak pie - lovely light pastry filled with tasty tender meat.
The puds were gorgeous and we can particularly recommend the delicious sticky toffee pudding with treacle sauce and ice cream, also gorgeous cheesecake and crumble.
All the food was faultless, with friendly efficient service. Thank you for a very enjoyable meal. We will be back again soon!

The bay horse in Cherry Burton is a lovely village pub, as it's not on a main road you're not going to pass it, you have to turn off into the village. There is an excellent choice of beers included two cask conditioned hand pulled real ales. There is a pool table and dart board in one room and a nice cozy comfortable seating area at the other side of the pub. Excellent meals are served, check opening times. Friendly staff, car park, outdoor seating.

We have eaten twice here this weekend and both occasions, it has been absolutely beautiful and dog friendly. The service , the atmosphere the food is excellent. We got served by James Sunday 31st March, and the service he gave alone was brilliant , a Lovely friendly guy. Hope to see you all again.

Just what you need from a village pub! Great food, great staff and a pool table!

Myself and my family have had the pleasure of two visits to The Bay Horse (so far) and both have been wonderful.
The staff are all lovely and friendly, the food certainly matches.
If you're in need of a quality Sunday roast, this is your place. The meat is perfectly done, the veg is brilliant and a great Yorkshire pud is just what you need, plus an exceptional gravy.
The new owners are brilliant and we will certainly be returning again and again!
