Such pleasant, helpful staff. Opening a child's savings account was a breeze. Thanks to all the staff, especially for letting my three year old son use their toilet in his desperation!

Quick to reduce savings rates but slow to raise them. After the latest BofE rate increase they posted that they are monitoring the market and will respond in due course. So they are slow market followers whilst Yorkshire Building Society increased their savings rates immediately and above market averages.

Further to the above and their reply it is noted that the cash ISA interest rate has been raised to 0.8% from 2/9/22. Yorkshire BS cash ISA was raised to 1.50% .

Jacob made our mortgage application completely stress free. We had concerns about applying for a new mortgage because of being self employed, and we didn’t want a ‘computer says no’ response from a high street lender. We spoke to a couple of mortgage brokers who made the process seem frightening and long winded. The Beverley listened to us and took the time to get to know our situation. Our application was manually underwritten which was important to us, and our application went through super quick in comparison to others in our chain. Thank you so much, cannot rate highly enough ?

No need to try if you’re not British- outdated information with regards to residency requirements and no interest to update their knowledge to gain you as a customer.
