I came to Bridlington expecting a run down Seaside resort but was pleasantly surprised by a thriving port, some lovely architecture, pretty garden spaces, a street market, amusements, a land train on the promenade, ample public conveniences, sandy beach and very few boarded up shops. The town even had a proper huge post office and high street banks, both of which are often absent these days. We were also able to park with ease, though parking charges were a little steep at £2 an hour or £8 for the day. Boat trips were reasonably priced at £3 for a pirate ship, £5 for 10 minutes on a jet boat and £30 for 6 hours aboard a fishing boat. The weather was not great when we were there but I can imagine the place lights up in the sun.

Beautiful part of the East Coast and so much to do. Make of it what you want.... sit quietly (except for the seagulls) or visit the arcades and fairground. A variety of places to eat but highly recommend fish and chips! Plenty of shops to buy your beach necessities, buckets, spades, fishing nets etc. Take a stroll along the harbour front or take the land train to South Beach, £6 for a family of four (dogs travel for free ?). Great day out

Nice little harbour with a carpark (chargeable) free for bikers if there's space. Public toilets just over the road. Gift shops and chippy nearby slot machines aswell. Looks beautiful and not far away from the town center and only a few yards from and very long sandy beach. You have kids rides in the town center just behind the harbour icecreams doughnuts toy shops ect enough things to empty your wallet ?

Bridlington Beach was 5*, the service we received from the shops was excellent and accommodating. A special mention for the power boat experience. Two disabled patrons and the attendents were excellent, seeing them on and off the boat carefully. The ride was a first for both of them and was a memory. We Really enjoyed the whole day, and although they were tired (no wheelchair rentals ?)

Watch out for Kamikaze Seagulls, they honestly dont care and will hover like a hawk until they get an opportunity to dive haha. Harbour is a lovely place to walk see different boats, take a trip, eat and drink, selection of some beach themed shops for gifts etc. Nice place to be overall

Quite expensive and really not what I thought to expect. Nothing much to do apart from walk about. Too many very expensive eateries, full of dogs and a bit of a let down to be honest.

Cracking working and tourist harbour. No pretentious stuff here. Great price boat trips and all the usual seaside goodies on offer in the harbour side businesses.

If you like fish and chips, waffles, doughnuts, seafood and lots of other tasty stuff. Not forgetting, a great beach, and penny arcades. Most important of all you are made.to feel welcome.
