Brilliant little hall people there are fantastic and very helpful we went to see sir bob brolly and friends it was a beautiful experience the sound is so beautiful and echos across the floor. Toilets 🚻 clean disabled accessible yes ground floor parking around back free drinks and food available to buy we had a brilliant time

Have booked 2 events for my colleagues at work and they have all enjoyed them.

The Christmas parties are huge success. Buffet food is decent and the whole party is so worth £18.50. We shall all be back for Christmas 2024.

Club Tropicana was another big hit. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. 80s all the way. Dance floor was packed from the get go.

The bar is reasonably priced. Civic is lovely and clean, Curators, bar staff and security are chatty and provided good customer service.

Box office staff are helpful.

Have been to many shows personally but first time bringing work and shall be bringing for future events.

Saw this is pink floyd last night excellent night out lighting superb and band brilliant. Only bad area is confusion about parking on rear car park before and after 7 several of us couldn't get machine to work and obviously nervous about tickets as there was one guy who already had a ticket

Great venue we saw Tony christy. With mom brother and sisters .we had great seats staff were friendly. There is a bar for drinks and snacks.There is a carpark which as a lot of disabled parking but there is another large carpark less than 5 minutes up the road. The toilets are clean .This Was my first visit but definitely won't be my last

My husband and I have been to lots of different events here over the past couple of years, from musicals, Xmas parties, barmy bingo, 90s nights and rhythm of the day, and every time has been amazing. Great venue with friendly helpful staff and reasonable bar prices.

A full house was here to see the one and only CHUBBY BROWN . This was my first time seeing him and he was excellent. He may not be everyones cup of tea but he can still pack the Theatres out . The woke brigade don't like him but who cares what they think ,if they want to be miserable so be it ,but don't try to ban him from others seeing him . Anyway that's my rant for the day. We had a fabulous night. The staff there are all excellent and look after the place very well

Absolute disgrace.
The accessible toilet was used by anyone so had urine and sick all over the floor, that's not the worst. Securitywouldnt let me (a diabetic with kidney failure) take my own drink in. I had to have a raffle ticket and the runner would get it for me when needed, (that's if you could find a runner with 2 brain cells), I asked one runner and he just grunted and said "don't know what you're on about" They wanted you to buy their own cans of coke at £2.05 instead so hide drinks in your bag, you also couldn't get a drink when the show was on.
I went to take a photo towards end of show and security came over and said "you can't record in here" I said I'm taking a photo and she said I couldn't do that either. So I asked why she didn't stop the ones in middle of seating area and she didn't reply .
Finally only way in for wheelchairs is through fire exit and then situated as far from exit as possible so would have been unable to get out in a fire.
Won't be visiting again. I had to give it 1 star because couldn't give it zero.

First time at the Civic Hall. what a fabulous building with friendly staff and unbelievable bar prices (low). Good facilities all round and even had friendly security door staff who did their job quickly, politely and efficiently. Top Marks
