Tony is a top man. he was very patient, very helpful with my questions, the wait for my cycle scheme voucher & the fact it took me a week or so to get the bike to him.
Absolutely great service. love the new wheels and the ceramic bearing BB is wonderously smooth. the bike just wants to be pushed & go even faster now, hopefully i can push my harder, further & faster.

We cannot recommend Tony and Brooks Cycles enough. After a super last minute issue with my partners Haibike before a trip to bike park Wales the next morning, Tony came to the rescue. Staying late on a Friday afternoon to help repair a broken headset and having all the parts needed at hand, we honestly couldn’t have been more grateful.

What’s more, he charged us such a good price for the work, plus his time AND the fact he stayed late for us.

My partner and I were setting off for a bike packing trip across Wales when we had an issue with a bike inner tube causing the tyre to bulge out. We popped into Brooks Cycles to see if they could help us out and the bloke working there was super friendly and helpful. He diagnosed and fixed the problem in less than 2 minutes. I offered to pay for the help he provided, but he told us not to worry - so kind!

What life-savers these people were!

I was away cycling with a group of friends and in the middle of nowhere, 20 miles into a 90 mile ride. Going up a hill, the chain stalled and as I pedalled through, the rear derailleur snapped off and got ripped under the frame. Disaster! Had to free-wheel to a caravan site and get a signal.

The kind gentleman on the phone listened and said bring it in to see if we could fit a new mech hanger as it had snapped. Taxi into Welshpool and, even though they were busy, looked at it straight away, no bother. Was asked to go for a coffee for a bit and came back 30 mins later. Worse than I thought: rear derailleur needed replacing, new chain and cassette put on, few fix-ups and done within the next hour.

Patient, kind and helpful and didn't even charge me for labour. When I obliged, they refused. Thank you for saving the couple of days with my mates. Managed to get back on the road and then cycled the next day too. All the best and thanks again.

I recently visited the store after my 6 year old son had abit of a mishap on his bike due to his breaks failing, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the problem was sorted in just just a few hours meaning my son could get his bike back the very same day. I brought tubeless tyres in a couple of months ago and they put them on my gravel bike wheels (they kept them overnight to make sure). Ridden about 400 miles up and around the lanes since then and still waiting for my first puncture... Recommend!
