We hired Bruce to do a structural and home buyer's survey on a terraced house as he was highly recommended by a friend. Bruce did an exceptional job. As first time home buyers we had a lot to learn about potential issues with older houses and Bruce was very patient and responsive with us. His building report was very thorough and identified issues with the property that we had not seen after multiple viewings. The vendors ultimately conducted their own more invasive survey after we raised the issues highlighted in Bruce's report and found his report was very accurate and the remediation costs were very close to his estimates. We are very happy with the service Bruce provided and highly recommend him, particularly for first time property buyers.

Bruce was incredibly thorough, providing us with a large set of very detailed photos covering the whole house inside and out. We instructed Bruce to perform a full buildings survey on a property that we had offered on. Bruce was able to quickly perform the survey and had a quick turnaround time in writing his report and opinions. He was also available to take us through the report to help our understanding of his conclusions. Bruce's home survey was excellent, thorough and prompt. Albeit he is roughly 50% more expensive than other surveyors, his review has been tremendously valuable to us and helped us to potentially save tens of thousands of pounds of works that we would incurred into after home purchase. He discussed his survey in details, provided advice on the overall negotiation process and offered to further review additional documents to ensure our purchase is sound.
