One branch local building society. Has one teller position as it is never very busy. Has a car park with one hour free parking behind but remember to register your car number plate on the car park machines even for the one hour free parking.

Terrible. Almost impossible to withdraw funds. 3rd attempt to withdraw my remaining funds and close my account but you constantly reject any withdrawal requests. Why am I even having to request to get my own money ?‍♂️

I've had the most horrendous experience with this bank getting a mortgage. It's take over 5 months, each step takes at least 1 month, even signing basic paperwork. So unprofessional. The valuation company they work with made mistake costing me thousands of pounds. I would avoid this bank at ALL costs! Look somewhere more reliable. No accountability or help at all.

I've had a regular savers account at the Bucks for 3 years and the rates have been superb, even during the pandemic the rates have stayed higher than its competitors. When I go into the branch the customer service team are phenomenal and answer any questions I have.

Buckinghamshire building society are more than willing to help and the team I have interacted with are very knowlegable and polite. The most important thing to do if you are having any troubles is to call them, their team are willing to help and most likely the issue is a simple mix up which they can easily fix if given the chance. My personal experience was with a man named James and the expirience was hassle free and easy I am more than happy to recommend this bank to anyone who's thinking about opening an account here.

Time wasters! Avoid them at all costs!
Applied, AIP was offered. Looked for a house that didn't use up all the loan given to me in the AIP. Returned with the offer! Paid the evaluation fee! And then they returned with a mortgage offer that was even less than the initial AIP!
( Remember I didn't use up all the loan offered in the AIP)
Their justification: expenses will go up with no regard to income growth and the times in which we were living in ( COVID)
Take my advice; Don't say i didn't warn you!

All I wanted was to open a savings account for my sick daughter at Christmass, I had to pester them to finally get a reply that they were not accepting transfers from other ISA's for some reason, must be too much work for them, seeing as bankers work very hard all day counting money & scheming new ways to take your money from you. So much for Buckinghamshire's moto for "doing the right thing".

Anyway, back to Money Saving Expert =)

Well any kind of assistance by you would be pointless now, the ISA
savings account which I wanted to open with you is no longer available to me nor did you make it possible for me to open one in a timely manner.
