I imagine that this is what a post office in hell looks like. Staff are rude and condescending and think it beneath them to even speak or do their job. Basic manners, let alone customer service, are severely lacking in this place. The post office in Upper Buxton is infinitely much better.

The staff in this particular post office obviously have absolutely no customer skills. On my visit there were people queing round the shop and one particular member of the post office thought it more important to remove her jumper have a drink then pop on the computer at the back of the currency office. This is the poorest service i have witness for quite sometime and i think they really need to be retrained in their jobs. ABYSMAL SERVICE !!!!

Spory to say but I found the person behind the counter rude. I had travelled to The pust Office to renew my car licence after looking in the website to make sure that this was possible. I had tried to ring but the number was incorrect. I told the person to which she replied yes I know ! I also told them on the website it states I could renew my car licence but she rudely answered we havnt got a photo booth so we can’t do it can we! I wanted to give it no stars but it wouldn’t let me in unless I gave it a star.

Post Office website states open until 10pm. Went to post something at 5.30pm and caught the staff who were just closing up. Explained that the website said 10pm, they did send my parcel for me but were clearly annoyed about it.

Not very friendly staff, and overly picky. Not good service when compared to the higher buxton post office near the market place. Called into the Co-op post office the other day and after spending a long time packing my parcel it was 2008 grams ( 2.008kg), they wanted to charge me £60 instead of £25 to send a parcel because it was a few grams over. Perhaps it got damp in the rain on the way, as on returning home my parcel now weights exactly 2kg after being in a dry room. What a overly picking service, whether this is standard royal mail, or just the staff in this branch, but i will be avoiding both if possible in the future.

Very rude woman behind the counter, dark hair & glasses, wish I'd got her name, I was just taken aback at how snappy she was. Second time of terrible customer service here, so much nicer & more helpful at the Post Office on the market place.
