I have walked my dog around Canary Wharf since she was a little puppy, it’s her favourite walkies because a lot of the office staff and visitors stop to pet her as she’s such a friendly happy little girl. I only put her on the lead if we hit a very busy patch ( outside train stations) or in the designated parks as it states on the signs when you enter them. My little girl is a registered therapy dog she’s is amazing with everyone especially children the hospital visits are her favourite times. I have her off the lead as much as possible as I’m disabled and my movement and walking isn’t as agile as my dogs she loves to entertain her self by mooching along and having a good sniff around so I feel it’s unfair on her to have her plod slowly along beside me and restrict her exercise. She has been trained since a pup to never wander too far away from me. So I was very upset to have a Canary Wharf security guard with a black and white spaniel approach me and order me to put her on the lead while “I’m on the estate” . My dog was calmly walking along beside me while his was doing it’s best to get mine while pulling on its lead. Maybe he should train his own dog properly considering it’s a so called professional security dog. I always thought this was a free country but Canary Wharf seems to be run like a police state.

Hi, I wanted to provide feedback on a particular security member of staff that worked last night 1/12 by the name of Eddy. Eddy came to the rescue when he assisted my friend who was having a panic attack outside the Canary Wharf bridge after our event finished. It was the early hours and Eddy managed to call us a taxi and get us urgently into a cab home bound. He assisted my friend into the cab himself.
