Fished it earlier in the year for the first time since the current owners took over, probably around 12 years.
Can’t believe what’s happened to the place, it looked like a building site! Rubble dumped everywhere, diggers and other machinery everywhere, they’ve done a lot of work on there but definitely for the worse! The back island in the speci lake used to be covered in trees and bushes etc, now it’s baron. It’s a real shame to see what it’s became compared to how it used to be. I definitely won’t be going back there again!

Good fishing hard work with the heat stayed 2 nights got 4 fish between us will go again. Caught 2 16lb.and 23 and 22 so good couple of nights

Come here for the first time . What I guess was the bailiff was very rude . Yes we did come to the front to have a chat about the lakes ect and got greeted with him shaken his head and a foul attitude towards us . Then gets down to the lake to actually talk to someone (another Angler) who had been there for 2 days and warned us not to bother .lake had meany fishing and no one had caught . Place looked messy like a junk yard . We didn't stay and won't be coming back !
