I visited this cafe this morning with my husband. We cycled from Hull. It is round the back of the church. We had coffee and cake, which was homemade and delicious. The ladies serving us were all lovely and very happy in their work. We even bought eggs to take home. The cafe also had a childrens area and a little library. We enjoyed it very much and will definitely be back. Highly recommended

I'm not at all religious and I find myself reviewing my second church in 2 weeks. Went here for my grandson's Christening yesterday and found the whole experience very charming. The vicar, Richard, was spot on, with a very engaging and amusing ceremony. Can't fault it, 5 Stars from me ?

Interesting little church - aren't they all?! Friendly, welcoming and informative rector. Has a grand little caff set up in the back room which is open on Fridays - I visited on the right day! Good food. Worth dropping in if you are in the area.

Beautiful church. Very impressed with the building at the rear which was closed at the time but is a cafe. I visited with a friend who was evacuated during the second world war to his uncles farm which was next to St. Michael's church. In the churchyard we looked for the graves of his ancestors and found some of them including his great grandfather.

A lovely village church with a friendly congregation of people who always make you feel so welcome and Rev Richard is such a down to earth person who makes everyone feel so at ease whilst at the same time delivering a challenging message which always makes the Bible stories feel so relevant and up to date, I always come away challenged and thinking of how I can lead a better life and also how I can be a blessing to others.

A friendly, welcoming community of all ages, meeting in a beautiful country church and church hall. The Vicar Richard is a really nice guy with a young family. The church have a rolling program of services of different styles from Book of Common Prayer to Community Church Evangelical, plus regular small study groups and social groups during the week, so something for everyone. They serve a good cup of tea too!
