Marie is amazing... she took quick action to treat my cat, who had a life-threatening condition. Marie is pragmatic and honest, I trust her completely. Chole's club is also a great peace of mind and helps to spread costs of regular treatment. I would have no hesitation in recommending cherry tree vets.

Absolutely disgusted to hear just now that you have flat refused to see,let alone administer emergency treatment and pain relief to an injured stray cat found last night unless someone comes up with £300.
Looking at your reviews it's not the first time this has happened!

*edit* not an unfair response and it is not gossip,it is fact! They had to front up over £300 of their own money before you would treat it!!

can’t recommend cherry tree enough to anyone. have always treated all of our dogs thoroughly and with respect. when we sadly lost our elderly dog- who they had done their upmost to look after and make comfortable in his older age- they were so empathetic, and when we were finally ready and this week introduced a new furry member to our family they invited us over same day for an emergency saturday visit to put our minds at ease and make our first week with him less daunting. have always helped us and advised preventative interventions to help both save money and minimise stress to our pets. can’t speak for all other individuals, but many of the reviews on here are very shocking to read as they couldn’t be further from the reality of every consultation and procedure we’ve had with maria 🙂

Sadly, many veterinary practices are now impersonal multi-site commercial operations. So when we moved to the Harleston area we chose Cherry Tree Vets because it is owner managed and offers a personal service.

The care given to our cherished, elderly and finally ailing cat by the owner and head vet Marie Bouvet exceeded all our expectations, and the difficult ending was handled by her with love, professionalism and, above all, compassion.

Thank you very much Marie and your colleagues.

We recently moved to Harleston and our cat got hit by a car.
We called cherry tree vets, and was asked if we wanted to go to Harleston or Diss. It wasn't till we arrived at Harleston we found out harleston has no x-ray equipment, so is next to useless for an animal that's been hit by a car.

We waited for OOH vet to arrive. Once shown to the room the vet said "you do realise there was a £150 OOH new customer registration charge". No one made us aware when we made the appointment.

The vet interrogated us into why we used them and not our usual vet, to which we said we have just moved into area.

When leaving the vet made a snotty remark saying she now had to go home and cook her husband's dinner as she had to come to our appointment.

No other vets charge the New customer OOh registration fee. I went in to complain the next day and the receptionist said it was to put people off from surrounding areas using their practice.

When we made the apartment It was never pointed out to us that they charge this fee and since looking on their website it is advertised as £96 not £150!

They didn't mention when we made the appointment that Harleston doesn't have the medical equipment to diagnose and treat an animal that has been hit by a car. If we had known we would have gone elsewhere.

The 15 minutes that the vet to took to look at Arnie cost £462. We were given pain killers and advised it was probably bad bruising and see how he got on.
Although the walking seemed to get better something didn't seem right and we noticed a lump so took him to Debenham vets.

They performed x-rays and tests and found out he was anemic due to internal injuries, which resulted in him having to be put to sleep. Debenham vets I would highly recommend.

When I went into cherry tree vets they refused to arrange an appointment to speak with the practice manager and say they only accept complaints via email!!
I have since emailed and had to chase replies multiple times as they don't reply.

When they eventually did reply, they couldn't even get that right and responded about someone else's cat that had been injured.

No doubt cherry tree will write something to try and excuse this review as they don't seem to own up to any of the negative posts against them.

I have taken my case to the royal veterinary college who are currently conducting an investigation against them.

Our sweet cat got rapidly poorly early hours on a sunday. We rang cherry tree vets, the emergency number to be asked what's wrong. We listed the symptoms to be told they couldn't help us and explained she had had six kittens 3weeks ago.
A family member was shocked they wouldn't help and gave us oakwoods number who transferred us to Bury St Edmunds vets. Her condition was life threatening. They saved our sweet cats life and reunited her with her six kittens which was very emotional.
After this we are transferring all our beloved pets to oakwood as if anything was to happen during night or early hours we know our pets will receive the very best care plus they wouldn't turn down helping us

Excellent vets based in Diss and Harleston. Been with them since the day we bought our cat home and always been impressed with the service we receive and with Kloe’s Klub which we think is great value for money.

Have just had our dog spayed and the day after you wouldn’t be able to tell she’d had major surgery. No attempted licking or scratching and no obvious discomfort. Check up appointments arranged when we picked her up and included in the very reasonable price.

They also did all the paperwork and liaising with our insurance provider when we had a claim meaning we got the money back quickly and without any fuss.

Also they took the time to send a handwritten card with some nigella seeds (which are now starting to sprout on our late cats favourite windowsill) when we lost said cat.
