Great site but stay clear of Lovely Jubblies food wagon. Extremely low budget processed food at extortionate prices. I would say they are walking a thin line on misrepresentation. Check out food before you buy. Fish chips curry sauce - couldn't find any pieces of cod only dried up tiny bits couldn't even call them flakes. Chips thin frozen. Curry sauce the texture of cement. I cut into the fish or cod as they like to call it just to see if it was better inside than outside unfortunately the whole meal was inedible and went into the bin the best place for it!

Stayed here one night. Sadly just before 7pm the dog was sick all over bedding and we stripped everything off to go and use laundry. Our mistake we didn’t notice the signs on outside of building stated when laundry would shut (why they need to shut when most sites don’t I don’t know). However that meant we didn’t have bedding all night or towels.
We could have phoned emergency number but we felt bad when it was our mistake we hadn’t read signs so we have put up with it as we appreciate staff need some down time after work.
However this morning at 830am block still not open but we are now in social hours so I contacted the site team. They couldn’t have been LESS helpful. Was told no they wouldn’t open block early even though we are waiting to leave!! We have to wait till 9am.
This is nearly a £50 a night site. It is also the friendly club. It is now 857am as I type this and still no one has been to open. Honestly so regimented and rule focus. Why would you leave a customer stood outside like that?
I have had to complain to head office. Something I’ve never had to do on a campsite before.
I won’t be renewing my membership next year after this. Rules are absolutely fixated on with zero flexibility!! Why shut the laundry in the first place?

All in all, a great campsite. Decent pitches, well-maintained, clean & pleasant bathrooms and showers. Nice Youngs pub a few doors down and a campsite shop (and petrol station shop just over the road) for anything you might run out of.

It’s worth thinking about the location. It’s handy for Surrey & day trips to South West London and is really close to the M25 & M3. A quiet, isolated back-to-nature site it isn’t.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Chertsey Camping and Caravanning site. The wardens were really welcoming and helpful and we were shown to a beautiful pitch overlooking the Thames. The toilet facilities were excellent, so clean and really warm. Lots of piping hot water. Great walk along the Thames tow path and plenty of pubs and coffee stops.

Great C&C campsite and good price for a solo with a non-electric pitch. Really liked the big pond. I stayed here because I needed to get into central London and it’s only a 20-min walk to Horsley station on the Waterloo line. 4G is ok but there’s wireless too. The non electric pitches are next to the toilets and showers which is quite handy. They were very clean.

Nice site, very friendly and helpful staff, other camper friendly. Nice by the river thames. Only downside, was the noise from the M3, almost next door, and Chertsey weir. (both sounded louder at night, possibly due to lack of leaves on the trees, as it's early spring,. Leaf canopy may have kept noise down). Shame.

Chertsey is a great site in a great location next to the Thames and within short walking distances to two Pubs and some nice dog walks just across the bridge. The staff are real friendly and helpful and the site is maintained to a high standard.
