EDIT: The last few times I went this older man was actually friendly and even cracked jokes with other customer! I hope this is a positive change that will stay!
The older man needs to be re-evaluated! He is a grumpy, rude old man who is making coming here a nightmare!! Why are only the younger employees kind How's about instead of being grumpy because the young ladies don't work there anymore, be grateful you still have a job considering this post office was initially supposed to completely close! This place would have much better reviews if that man got rid of his negative attitude.

Last two times I have been there the post office counter has been closed even though it was well within their published opening times. Annoying and a waste of two journeys. Will avoid in future.

Be warned they only let you have parcels if you have drivers license or passport. No other identification is good enough.. would not except my social care badge with photo identification and name and status with the company i work for. They really also need to get training for the staff in there.. the rude old bloke who has no social skills and is extremely aggressive , I actually panic before going in there as he shouts and stares at you in such an misogynistic manner. Please can someone sort this out!!!!

The staff is extremely rude and shows no respect. I believe they have issues with the English language. I noticed they treat people who speak Urdu nicely, but their tone changes completely when serving others. I will be reporting this to the Post Office.

I will officially appeal against this old man. He is rude and totally unprofessional when treating people. He is so stressed and can't handle a very small queue in comparison to the cashier beside him. It is the worst day in my life when I have to go to that place, and I always try to avoid it as much as I can. The rest of the employees are good, welcoming, and understanding.

I couldn’t agree more with other negative reviews! I was at front of queue when I realised I’d forgotten to put the address on my parcel… this was only because I tried to print out the label at home but Royal Mail wants the recipient’s email ( which I didn’t have)
I’m amazed this wasn’t optional but never mind I thought I’d just go to our local PO. Anyway, I cycled home to sort out and left ( or so I thought) just enough time to get back to post. It was 12.26 and there was one woman in front of me. When she approached the man behind the counter gestured rudely and just shut the window and said closed! The woman was so upset. It’s bad enough when people in customer service shut exactly on time when customers are waiting however I can understand it at least but to shut early and be rude about it is unacceptable.
