Painful. The lady behind the counter is comically awful at her job.

Brought a reasonable size box in for a return (could be carried, so not that big or heavy), and was told to write my address on the box. I asked why and was provided some garbled sentences about how the box is too big. I then asked why that means I have to write my address on the box, and she said it’s so they can contact me if the Postman’s van is too small and they need me to come and collect it.

Many things wrong with this:

- The box wasn’t that big
- Her first argument was that the post office is too small to store the parcel until the postman arrives, but then asked me to leave the box with them anyway
- Her updated argument was that the postman’s van might be too small, which surely isn’t my problem
- I wasn’t asked to leave a number or email, so how are they expecting to contact me?
- If they do somehow contact me to get me to collect it (are they going to send me a letter or something) then what am I supposed to do about it? Do the return myself?

I’d excuse this strange process if it wasn’t for the awful way the lady went about it. Completely devoid of any coherence, helpfulness, warmth and understanding. Rolling her eyes, getting frustrated because I was clearly asking too many sensible questions.

Where’s a good old fashioned round of redundancies when you need it.

I use this post office every week and I always have a pleasant time. All of the women are very kind and helpful. The manager is knowledgeable about all Post Office services and you are in safe hands with her. I do not understand the negative feedback: that’s not my experience. I think they’re great!

If I could score this post office 0 stars I would but sadly you have to score at least 1.
Went in to post a parcel, made a special journey. Produced the QR code but I was told “this post office does not have a printer!!!!” How is that possible? Absolutely ridiculous. Will not be returning.

Terrible, unhelpful and rude. Went to do business banking an hr and half before closing time. The lady behind the counter had already cashed up. Firstly refused to take the money altogether. Then after some debate said she would take cash but not coins. This was of course impossible. I left and will not be going back. Would suggest strongly better training and a much improved attitude. Awful!

Unhelpful at best, rude at worst. As a customer of HSBC bank who now must deposit cash and obtain change from the post office, I will look to change bank so that I can avoid these rather unpleasant people.

Staff are rude, both women are talking to each other in foreign language while serving customers, so sometimes it feels like they are talking about a customer. They close for lunch but they are still chewing sandwiches afterwards while serving customers. The post office itself is a dirty mess and it seems like they never clean.
If you go to send a parcel and dare to have "too many" coins while paying for this service, they will refuse to send your parcel and will likely raise their voice at you , and humiliate you in front of other customers. ABSOLUTELY DREADFUL POST OFFICE.

I visit this branch frequently, I find the staff generally appear bored and unfriendly. Mistakes have been made with myself and other customers due to multi-tasking at the counter. The shop usually looks quite scruffy and I have found their opening hours to sometimes be unreliable. The previous Christchurch branch provided a much better service.

The lady here is SO rude. Wouldn't accept my parcel - they don't have a barcode scanner to take parcels. She told me to go to a printer shop and buy a printer and ink so I can print my own label and that she would never get a printer at her store. She then told me all post offices don't have barcode scanners (this isn't true as I've just had to walk 40 minutes in the pouring rain to another branch who kindly took it) what an awful service and terrible customer care - whoever manages this place needs to sort it out.
