I've had a thoroughly frustrating experience with Encore. They consistently overcharged me for services not applicable to my property, including fees for systems that aren't even installed. Despite numerous attempts to resolve these discrepancies and my willingness to pay the correct charges promptly, they failed to correct their billing errors.

To make matters worse, they sent debt collectors after me for incorrect amounts, adding unnecessary stress and unjust fees.

Not often unhappy !!!

MINUS 5 WOULD BE A PROPER RATING

Mary Long, in her professional capacity takes the cake at being the most evasive and elusive to ever answer ANY issues relating to properties managed where disability rights are clearly being violated as enshrined under the Equality Act.

Lady Jane Court is entirely miss-managed by ENCORE with ZERO respect for disability rights - Mary Long "is in charge" of Lad Jane Court(of exactly what only God knows).

Peddlers of spurious never ending "do this, do not do that, these are the rules" Etc blah blah blah.

Take them to Court as we are doing !!!!

Absolute joke of a company. Avoid them at all costs. A bunch of absolute morons seem to work at Encore. Nothing but problem after problem with them. They took almost £2000 out of our account, trying to get them to help was like getting blood out of a stone. Had to go through our bank to get our money back. This company needs to be shut down.

I live in a building managed by the Encore Group and the experience has been far from great.

It all started when the building developed leaks in the roof and it took Encore over 12 months to fix the issue. Our living room roof actually caved in due to water building up in the ceiling. Encore repeatedly shifted blame to the insurance companies.

For the last 6 months the lift in our building has been malfunctioning. Encore shut it down at least once a month for three days in a row. Encore recently sent a note that the lift will now be shut for three weeks straight while they are waiting for parts from mainland Europe.

This company actually shut the lift down for three weeks in a four storey building where many young families with prams live without asking the residents for input. A better solution would have been to keep the lift operational and have maintenance on stand-by if the lift got stuck. To add insult to injury Encore also decided that now, when the lift is out, it is an opportune time to repaint the stairwell.

The company is incompetent, unethical and should be avoided at all cost. Encore has been very slow dealing with a leaking issue from communal area. It took almost 12 months to fix it completely. Customer service is hard to get hold of, with phones often went no answers. Another practice the company take is quite ruthless. That is in case you miss your service charge payment for whatever reason, even for just a month, they can put you in serious trouble. Encore hires SLC solicitor to deal with service charge arrears. SLC is ruthless and behaves as a scam. They charges me almost 700pounds fee for a 550 pounds service charge late for less than 2months and they don't listen to any of your explantions. They threaten to take you to court and get your mortgage bank involved. Leaseholder, be very careful when you have to deal with SLC. Can be very stressful experience. Encore puts leaseholder in such stressful situation without any hesitation. I would never picked Encore if its up to me.

Think twice about buying a property on an estate linked to Encore. They’re incompetent and unwilling to respond to emails sent and chased for over a month causing the sale to fall through.

I completely concur with the sentiments expressed in the other reviews. The service provided is subpar, and I would like to emphasize the extreme user-unfriendliness of the website. My recommendation is to steer clear if possible.

They have this rubbish so-called “security “ system . It consists of six characters: a letter, four figures and another letter. It would be much better to have a keycard system like they do in hotels.
