Swam in this lake today. Lovely environment, accessible from multiple points. There's no specific swimming route, but if you want to estimate distances there's a little picture on the cafe door detailing this.

Coffee was very good (and served at a decent temperature too) and the cakes were excellent.

Highly recommend. Will be visiting again.

Beautiful place to unwind. Nice cafe overlooking the lake too, which served very nice coffee. Didn't try the food but what other customers were eating looked good.

I wish they'd do a couple of family swims a week though, or an hour a day over the weekend. Would love to bring my kids here for a swim. Maybe their insurance doesn't cover kids or something, but seems a shame. Mind you, my kids would probably spoil the serenity 😄

Love it. Peaceful and tonnes of space to swim. Easy access from any part of the lake (if you're relatively dextrous) but there is also a wooden pontoon with a ramp to walk down and hand rail which is amazing. Nice little cafe and there is a toilet on site. There is a shower but you have to request to use it so I didn't bother on this occasion but would if I wasn't going straight home. Will be visiting again

Had SUCH a lovely day here today. Slightly reluctant to post this review because it feels like a hidden treasure, but lovely swimming lake, can bring your paddle board, very natural beautiful lake, very dog friendly, nice cafe serving cakes, coffees and sandwiches. Lovely staff, loads of parking.
Bit difficult to find even with a modern google maps sat nav, so worth using their what3words location on their website.

Brilliant place! Beautiful setting, shared the lake with a couple of swans, great cafe perfect for after your swim. Really warm and friendly people. Took my dog in with me and couldn’t have been happier. Loved it!

Wild swimming 🏊‍♂️ lake, with stand up paddle boarding. Lovely cafe on site, Nice walk around the lakes if you don't fancy a dip. Car parking,take care and slow down driving through the farm 🚜 yard.

Great sauna, lovely lakes, right balance of people around but not busy.
