Absolutely disgusting company! Do not use! I’m a self employed mechanic who was a loyal customer to Covea for over 7 years. I had my livelihood stolen on a job, my van and 10 years worth of tools. Covea won’t pay out a penny and I have still lost my NCB and my insurance has more then quadrupled now. Stay away!

I’ve never dealt with such rude, arrogant and misogynistic men in all my life!
They talk over you, belittle you, laugh at you and don’t listen!
Refuse to pay out for theft of a car, it takes a complaint to get them to pay out. And then refuse to collect the car and claim they didn’t know the car had been released… They say police and holding companies aren’t telling you the truth, even though they’re the only ones stating they wasn’t aware even though I’d informed them myself!
AVOID this company at all costs!

Would highly recommend NOT using this insurance company. Myself and my husband (William Bowling) have taken out insurance with this company and listed our engagement ring separately on there. We have unfortunately lost this and are absolutely devastated. The insurance company directed us to their recommended jewellers which valued the ring at £3023. We were originally told that what the valuation price was will be the same if we wanted to go back to the original jeweller we got our ring from. We had decided this is what we would like to do. However, the insurance company have now gave us the valuation of £2000 as apparently they have discount with the recommended jeweller? and therefore if we did not use them we would only get £2000 which isn’t the value of the ring… but if we went with their recommended we would get the £3023? make this make sense! absolutely appauling customer service. When explaining the sentimental reason as to why we want to go to the original jeweller the lady on the phone gave attitude saying “but why won’t you use our jeweller?!” because we don’t want to!! and not now especially after this awful interaction. I will never be using this company again and this should be a lesson to everyone - please please please check who you are insuring valuable items with if you want to get the full cost of the loss. Please go independently to specialists!!

And check out trust pilot , These will not cover you when need be !!!Please use one of the other insurance companies, The bottom line is these do not cover you when you need them , I'm currently in the process of going through the ombudsman and PRA . I worked myself for many years in the insurance industry , please do yourself a favour and avoid,.20 years covered for nothing !!!!!

A truly horrendous company with customer service at a level I’ve never experienced before. One of their customers hit my car in July and I’m still dealing with the fallout.

Absent managers who set the tone for poor customer service. Horrific.

Hour long wait times and no response to emails sent in.

Initial claim was refused because of policy wording around speed limits on e-bikes. Was resolved after I involved ombudsman (procedure was quick after this).

Reserved judgement for now but the signs are not good, refusing to pay out on life cover due to death certificate citing alcoholic liver disease as one of the causes of death....my beautiful wife was unaware of the condition ... heartless decision

Seriously shocking never in all my years experience such carnage . Secound month now still no correspondence constantly chasing them , resending emails and info every time I speak to some one .
So stressful .
Poor poor poor .
