Came to my bank to simply swap some old notes to current ones, was told the money had to be deposited to an account, then i must withdraw from that. I needed the cash right away and it was larger than my daily withdrawal limit so the staff informed the only way would be to get it done at the post office who can do a straight swap. I then proceed to the PO who confirm nope, all they can do is deposit to a bank account... im upset about the bad advise provided and the resulting time wasted, rant over!

Very bad building society can't even put £1,000 cash in without you having to prove where it came from been with this building society for over 35 years disgraceful made me feel like having cash was a criminal offence I took all my money out and put it in another building society and they couldn't welcome me enough.
