Excellent Customer Service 10/10
I went for passport renewal and staff member, Hanif, took care of everything and made the whole process simple. It was one of the hottest days and nearly closing time. He was a true professional and I would strongly advise using this post office. Well done to all the Team. You go above and beyond 10/10

Avoid if you can, I run an online business and use online prepaid postage labels. The staff clearly either lack knowledge or and training. Been using the same printer same label set up for years but the staff claim they can't accept them or scan the lables, absolutely waste of time took the same parcles to a different branch and there was absolutely no issues the staff member wouldn't even try or listen to me trying to explain the situation.

Definitely will not be bothering to go there again

Woeful customer service by one member of staff, an older lady. Looked to transfer Euros back to Pounds and no we can’t take one of the notes, even though it was the same post office that gave me them in the first place! (I had receipt for proof and she still would not accept it. One note had been sellotaped back together and I didn’t see it whatsoever; Didn’t end up using the Euros and it was buried at the bottom of the pile.) Anyone would think she would do the decent thing and accept the mistake on their part and offer me the pound note, but no. Absolutely woeful service.

My wife has used this branch for a while now. The staff are always friendly. But beware of the charges on your posting. My wife wanted to post a large letter this morning. She knows the price as she does this regularly and has the Royal Mail plastic template to check her letter sizes. The man behind the counter wanted £20 to post her tracked large letter. She said "no" as she'd been overcharged there before. She drove through to Dewsbury Road Wakefield near Morrissons, and got the item posted at the post office for only £12. What a difference. So please be careful

Beware of Writing out card in Post Office!!!!

A couple of days ago I purchased a bereavement card from Asda and went along to the Post Office to write it out and post it.....I have written many cards out in the Post Office over the years. I entered the Post Office with the card in my hand and walked over to the writing desk and began writing out the card. Suddenly the lady who normally stands behind the shop counter appeared before me and in a loud-ish voice, in front of other people asked if I'd like to go the counter and pay for my card. I explained I'd bought the card in Asda and had purposely walked in the Post Office with the card in my hand to avoid any confusion. She defensively replied, "Well I don't see everyone who walks in the door". Full of embarrassment I went to buy my stamp and in my fluster I almost walked away without tapping my debit card on the PDQ card machine, which only added to embarrassment.

I have no idea why she made the assumption I'd stolen the card. ....It's not as if I'd even been looking at the cards in the Post Office. When I entered the shop no one was behind the shop counter and I can only guess that when she returned to the counter and saw me writing out a card she put two and two together and made ten

The idea of stealing anything is the last thing on my mind and to be accused of doing so is deeply offensive, especially in the Post Office that I have patronised regularly for 17 years. Sounds silly, but It's hard to shake off the upset it has caused me.

Up until this unpleasant experience I have always found the staff to be professional and very friendly. As it is my local Post Office I will continue to go there but will never feel the same about the place.
