Do not rent from these people.

The houses are nice but when we had a fire from the washing machine they wouldn’t help us as they said it’s the building company’s fault. Failed to tell everyone that they knew about this problem and didn’t arrange to fix it.

Also they suffered a data loss this year and failed to tell there tenants that there data had been stolen.

Do not trust these people they claim to look after the estate but don’t.

We have had an OK experience in our 5 years here. Some things (like washing machines) will get fixed quickly but others are ignored. Also the rent has increase around 48% in those 5 years which is why I would not recommend, we expected increases year on year but this time round it went up so much they priced us out of the estate.

I am so sad to write this review as I loved living in my property however... despite the houses being lovely, I would have to advise potential tenants to avoid this company. Whilst you are living in the house, issues are generally fixed quickly if they are urgent but non-urgent issues are ignored. The real issues arise when you move out. This company will do anything they can to avoid returning your deposit. No matter how pristine you leave the property, they will invent things to charge you for then over inflate the invoice. One example is a charge of £48 for a bit of dust on the top of ONE door frame. This is despite them admitting the house was cleaned to a professional standard. The fact that they no longer allow Facebook reviews says it all really. Unless you are willing to forget about getting your deposit back, avoid renting a Difrent house.

When we moved into our rented property, we was hit with a faulty boiler and no braided hose and the wrong thermostat from the property which needed to be resolved ASAP as we had a baby with us and the heating wouldn't go off. It took them a few days to come out this is on moving in. We had to clean the property before living in it even though we was assured it had been "professionally cleaned".

If I could leave zero stars I would. Everything is great when you rent from Difrent, until there is a problem that is for the landlord to resolve, everything takes a long time and you have to chase them until they get a contractor out.

I spent a full 7 days painting and cleaning the property and hired equipment to result in a condition of professional standard. I even pulled out the draws and cleaned inside where they go, it was cleaned inside out and left spotless.

When we left I was unaware of the treatment we would get because they have stopped reviews on facebook and have done their best to remove the bad reviews they will be getting from all over the country. They are out right scammers, the quotation for the costs of repairs needed came from a company situated in a house with a website that leads you to company house and outrageous costs for things that they will charge each tenant for but not rectify making it even harder for the next tenant who moves in, on a repeat cycle.

We are still waiting for our deposit and fortunately we took just short of 1000 photos as evidence the immaculate condition it was left in for the next people to move into. They was emailing us about how much they had to charge us whilst a new tenant had moved in and was told no work was required? I had to collect mail and I just asked in passing conversation.

They do nothing to help and ignore common sense and do not even think they'll allow fo any wear and tear, caused by previous tenants, if they want your money they will enforce you to pay for issues that were there when you first moved in, TAKE PICTURES. LOTS OF THEM they contradict their own checking in and out reports too. They are outright scammers. Look for somewhere else. Please.

These really are one of the worst companies I've had to deal with. There seems to be no communication between teams, and if you're after a prompt reply to a property they manage, then you'll be waiting a long time. Our new-build property had rats in the garden, and we had a newborn, it took them 4 weeks to get someone over to fit traps (we placed our own prior to this).

We just got a call asking when we could vacate the property that we used to rent from them, when in reality we vacated nearly a month ago. We're still waiting for confirmation of our deposit to be returned.

You'll rarely speak to the same person when you do finally get in touch with someone.

Frustrating to say the least. If I were a prospective tenant, or future investor in properties they manage, I'd have a think about my options before dealing with them.

Moved out of my Difrent flat after 10 months, as they left me with a bedroom window that would not open for the whole duration I lived there, knowing before I moved in that it didn’t open. I couldn’t actually move in on move in day either, as the front door on the flat didn’t shut or lock (as it had previously been booted down). This didn’t get sorted for days. Then I had ongoing trouble with the door for the whole 10 months, including being locked out due to the cheap and nasty lock they put on wearing out - this happened during their working hours but I couldn’t get through to anyone but an answerphone at the time.

Awful property management that I’m glad I never have to deal with again.

They take money from ur deposit for things that don’t need to be done.

As you can see we took pictures when we left after we read the reviews before hand.

Do not trust these people at looking after you. They do nothing for you even if your sick and pregnant and have serious issues with the house. Takes them 11 months to fix the problem and then they only do a half job.
