I’d certainly take the review below with a pinch of salt . I found the hotel lovely. Nice food , our room was well decorated & clean . When we arrived there was a problem with the water however the plumber was working on it and soon had it sorted. Everyone on our coach were very happy . Good entertainment & all the staff were lovely. There’s just no pleasing some people !

Wife found this hotel a few years ago this is our 3rd visit deal found on Agoda . | We paid £77 b&b for 2 nights great value for money the room is very clean and tidy with TV tea and coffee sachets . Yes on suite the shower cubicle is a bit small and the water pressure not great but it's an old building but hey for the money it's great value.| The breakfast is all you can eat cereals etc with cooked breakfast tea and coffee they don't put loads out at a time but they keep bringing it out very nice .| Hat's off to the staff ? ? very welcoming and very polite and friendly ? thank you ? | Ilfracobe is a funny ol place very dated left alone from the Victorian times the town has fallen foul to modern times just like many others around the country!!! We came here for a nice couple of days and it's been great we ate at weatherspoons down the road that is very nice ||

I booked this for a bargain price and wasn’t sure what to expect. It exceeded my expectioms. Yes it’s basic but the beds were comfy , it was clean, tea and coffee in the room and a nice hot shower. The location was really good to but the thing that made it was the staff. The people on reception are absolutely amazing so lovely and just can’t do enough to help you. I really hope the hotel owners know how lucky they are to have them. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel has a faded grandeur feel which is quite usual for older seaside hotels these days. The room was basic but it was absolutely fine for an overnight stay. It was clean and the was very comfortable and the shower nice and hot. Had a very peaceful night at a bargain price. ||Staff were all very friendly and helpful. ||The hotel is well placed in the town with plenty of restaurants and takeaways nearby and a Wetherspoons down the road. Out of season you can park right outside in the road from 6pm until 10am and it was only a £1 for 2 hours outside of that. There’s some free parking around for during the day too.||Very happy to recommend.

Very spacious room though a little tired. Good value for money. Comfy bed. Windows very dirty on the outside so couldn’t really enjoy the sea view. Friendly staff, available on hand 24hrs a day. Out of season the restaurant was closed for dinner but just a 5min walk to a Wetherspoons. There is a car park I learned later, though I wasn’t told this on arrival and was instead shown the street parking out the front of the hotel which was free at the time but chargeable from 9am the next day. I didn’t check out til 11am so I had to pay for parking.

We normally stay in our CamperVan but as it was December we thought we needed a Warm Room, Nice Bed, and somewhere central to the coast. The Dilkhusa Grade was exactly what we ordered. Nice and clean, amazingly warm, friendly staff and close to the town and all the beaches we visited. Plenty of car parking, and price bracket to match our budget. Thank you

Great budget hotel. Our room was a good size with comfortable chairs and a coffee table, with tea making facilities.
The breakfast is good value for money and sets you up for the day.
There was entertainment most nights.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Free WiFi.
Highly recommend.

We only paid 55 quid and we only needed somewhere to stay but the only thing grand about here are the mothers and fathers sat around staring at the very entertaining chap trying to inject life back into them through music. The whole hotel seems tired including the staff. Our room had a bed and a window with a bathroom. That's the positives. The negatives are that there were marks all over the walls and the bathroom needed a good clean. We didn't complain because after the check in, we thought we may be shouted at. We can't comment on housekeeping because in the two nights we were there, the room was not serviced. We even emptied our own bins. As I say we paid 50 quid so didn't expect much and we were right. Good location though..
