Opiniones

Downs Bank - Ford is a popular destination with visitors, boasting a 4.8/5 average rating on Google My Business. Many reviewers praise the beautiful Staffordshire countryside, the good café nearby, and the great walks and views from the Ford.

For example: "Downs Bank - Ford is a great area and place to stop for a walk in the beautiful Staffordshire countryside. Downs Banks is operated by the National Trust and there is a good café near to the Ford. Parking can be tricky as there are limited spaces so roadside parking may be the option, but it's not ideal if you're in a low vehicle. Good ground clearance is a benefit here. The walks and views from the Ford are great. Highly recommend a visit."

Love it here, love coffee and cones too, fab drinks and ice-cream, it's a beautiful walk with a pretty stream which the dog had fun in. When with the grandkids they play in the Ford too. Highly recommend

Lovely walk here with friends. Ruined slightly by the fact lots of dog walkers with dogs off the lead. Nerve wracking with our dog and children.
Still a pleasant enough walk. Rounded off with a coffee at the end. Very nice.

Lovely place, definitely a great place to chill.
The ground can be a little wet, muddy and even slippy around this time of year. But apart from that, stick on a good pair of boots and you'll be fine, just enjoy it's beautiful ever-changing Autumn colours of the ferns and trees, as you follow the ups and downs of pathways, while listening to the running stream and birdsong.
While here it's hard to think that your just a few miles away from Stoke-on-Trent, you would sometimes be mistaken for a place that's hours away and not just minutes away.

Downs Banks is a lovely area to explore and walk your dogs. Wellies needed along the lower paths either side of the stream. Great views from either side when you make the effort to walk uphill..
Parking on the car park or near the ford can get busy at the weekend but there's a lovely little coffee and ice cream hut close by

Beautiful and peaceful place to walk. Signs of bluebells coming up. My dog George loved all the sniffs and places to explore. Lovely little 'Coffee and cone ' place to have a drink/snack afterwards. Only downside , no gluten free options, but that's just me. Otherwise brilliant!!!
