I almost cannot be bothered to waste my time leaving a review. I have many years experience within the industry and have had the pleasure of working with some great people and some not so great.

Durrants are by far and away the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of coming across. We tried to rent a property through them and despite going through the referencing process and over coming a couple of hurdles, their referencing company approved our application, only for Durrants to decide we where not suitable.

We had direct contact with the landlord who said we could have the property but that he would be lead by the agent. The agent and their representative Wendy could not have been more evasive and would not divulge/discuss information about us despite us asking.

Wendy constantly would tell us how she had only just picked it up and had to consult someone senior ( I checked and she is supposed to be the manager with years of experience ) it was so clear she did not like us and this was compounded by the fact that when I last spoke to her she could not of sounded happier to talk to me. I later found out that she already knew we where to be turned down for the property.

We have sent emails to the owner of the business Nick Durrant who unbelievably has not even had the decency to reply. What business owner in this day and age cares so little about their business. You may have been open since the 1800's but that does not guarantee you will be around forever Nick.

I send this from the property we managed to enquire, view, agree and move into within a fortnight whilst the other property has still not been advertised by Durrants.

An absolute joke of a company who in my experience do not and will not care about this review ... this however is not for them it is for everyone else who is considering using them in anyway shape or form.

I was very pleased indeed by the performance and level of service in selling my house by the Harleston office of Durrants, most of all in the key final stages when they really came into their own. As we approached Exchange and Completion there was a quite long chain in which things might have gone wrong but Durrants were on top of absolutely everything. I received all the key information very quickly, exactly when I needed it in order to act quickly myself - and in the end the Completion went very smoothly. Thank you Durrants for all your help.

We were really impressed by the excellent communication and professionalism throughout the process. We mainly had dealings with Claire Staff who was excellent but had some very good dealings with Nathan at Durrants Harleston too. Felt very well looked after and supported throughout.
