Simple booking process, reasonable price, confirmation of booking the day before which was appreciated as I was stressed with a house move.

Given a new van which performed perfectly and was good on fuel.
Staff were straight to the point and got me on the road quickly which again was appreciated with the move.

It's worth taking out the insurance waver, I know my stuff with vehicle rentals, and without the waver you are liable for a lot of money, even if something happens that isn't your fault, for a small fee you can reduce the liability to around 10% of what it is.
I usually use smaller local companies for vehicle rentals but would definitely recommend enterprise Newton abbot and would definitely use them again

My car was involved in an accident so I was asked to drop it to Enterprise Newton Abbot, where it would be collected for repair. I dropped it off in the morning, leaving it in their parking space, then left with a hire car. A month later I get a parking fine for my vehicle, so they moved my vehicle & parked it illegally. I have spoken to the branch & head office on numerous occasions, who have all admitted liability & that they will pay the fine, but they have not done so - it's now three months after this happened.

I am now £70 out of pocket, plus the time taken to appeal the ticket through tribunal (unsuccessfully as clearly the car was parked illegally). They also removed the parking ticket from the windscreen, which I believe could be a criminal offence. I have tried writing a letter but they don't have a letter box. I have now sent an invoice, with interest being charged if it is unpaid, and have CC'd Devon & Cornwall Police and British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association.

Enterprise, please don't reply asking me to make contact, if you want to make contact you have my details. Otherwise a debt collection agency will contact you on my behalf.

Fantastic customer service from Chris! The whole process couldn’t have been quicker or easier. I received an upgrade as my chosen vehicle wasn’t available! Deposit was refunded within 24 hours. Will definitely use again and recommend to others. Well done Chris and Enterprise 😊

Callon delivered the XC90 in clean condition and ensured I was happy to accept delivery having gone through the various controls and extras. No pressure to return the vehicle which was also collected without fuss. Excellent service and certainly recommend.

Absolutely disgusting service!! Was told over the phone I could show photos of ID passport and driving licence check twice with them before setting off 40 mins journey onwards travel due to breakdown. Got there and a young lad who claimed to be a manager was very unhelpful advised he couldn't accept 3 x debit cards with my name on, business card and credit photo of passport and photo of driving licence to enable a hire vehicle to get home. Stranded 300 miles away from home. Wouldn't even pick the phone up to try and find a way to help me. Completely shocked at this horrible service. No empathy, no support, not in the slightest bothered about my situation. Simply wanted the day to end so he could go home and leave people in need stranded in the middle of nowhere. Will never go near enterprise again STAY WELL CLEAR!!

Do not believe what they tell you at this branch. Their working practices are completely incompetent. I picked up a hire car almost a year ago. On the walk around, I was informed by the staff member that the damage to the car had been logged. Stupidly, I believed what I had been told and so didn’t photograph it. When I dropped off the vehicle, I was told the damage had not been logged. I emailed the manager immediately (it was the same day but this branch closes early on a Saturday) but he never returned my email. Five months later, I receive an email for damages caused. This is now an ongoing dispute. I would never trust this branch of the company again. I have only given it one star because 0 isn’t an option.

Worst Van rental company there is! Do yourself a favour and the stress and choose anyone else. Booked a Van as moved house this week. Got called and told no vans in Newton Abbot Devon. The one allocated to me was broken and no others available. The cynic in me would said this was a cock n bull story. Said would try to find another one but never called me back- shocking! Completely unacceptable. Thank goodness Teign Vehicle Rental came to my rescue. Lovely new vans and friendly staff

Website lies...no cars available yet it let's you book.
Kept me waiting 90 mins when I arrived on time to pick up the car.
Told me a card was needed for security, just £1 though...was a courtesy car from my insurance...then took £300.
Ignoring all requests to refund this money.
