I've used Fidelity for years for my investment ISA & SIPP. On the rare occasion I've had to call customer services to query something, I have found their queue times very short, the agents I've spoken to be very polite and informed of current processes. One star off for pricing & clearing times for payments(Dividends etc) Could be cheaper but I prefer good service where I hold my investments.

At first glance Fidelity International appears to be good but it has so many restrictions that it makes management of your ISAs a nightmare. For starter they don't allow partial transfer from a cash isa into their Stock&Shares ISA. I also just found out that they don't allow partial transfer out of their Stock&Shares ISA to another provider unless it is an investment account....very convenient isn't it. So much for providing your customers flexibility and Investment accounts or ISA Stock&Shares are pretty much the same platform, it's just the tax implication difference. Other annoying thing like the time it takes to clear money which have been fully transferred in from another provider....a whopping 8 days. Apparently, even if the money has been transferred into Fidelity, it takes that amount of time to 'settle', how much settling does it need? Then when you withdraw money out, it is another whopping 5 days, yet the money comes has FAST BACS transfer in the bank account. Normally these FAST BACS transfer can be processed within half a day if not less, so how does Fidelity says that the banking transaction takes 5 days?
So in all, I am extremely disappointed by the services provided by Fidelity International, quite awful in fact and I won't even elaborate on the Customer Service, you can explain your problems to them but there are not interested. I will now look at my options to move all my investments away from them....

They lack a lot of the basic functions of online trading platforms. You have to cancel limit orders on the telephone for example. It is also not real time, it's not for the everyday trader, more like investment for life and don't touch..
