We first spoke to Jodie (Sale Branch - Lettings) over the phone about letting our property. She offered to have a look at the property to suggest what rent is achievable along with any improvements needed to attract tenants.
Jodie went above and beyond to take pictures on her non-working Saturday and listed the property the same day. The whole viewing process was seamless and happened while we were travelling. The viewing confirmation text is a great system which kept us up to date and gave an idea about the traction we were getting.
Jodie kept us up to date with everything and responded to all our queries promptly. All documentation happened swiftly and online from start to finish. Fees were competitive.

Our family was searching for a property in Manchester while still in Japan. We contacted several real estate agencies through Rightmove, but Gascoigne Halman was the only one that responded properly. They introduced us to a property in the Sale area, which was exactly where we wanted to live. We quickly expressed our interest, and they arranged a live online viewing for us. The biggest challenge in the process was the timing of our visa application and approval. However, despite the time difference between Japan and the UK, they coordinated everything smoothly and provided quick responses, allowing us to successfully complete the tenancy agreement. We have been customers of Gascoigne Halman for a number of years now firstly with a management of a house in Sale Manchester and lately a Flat in Monton Eccles. We have found them very proactive in marketing the properties and managing the tenancies for each property.
We have found the admin around property inspections reporting and health and safety reminders good.

Please do yourself a favor and avoid this agency.

I relocated from Liverpool a week ago, expecting the property to be habitable. Unfortunately, I encountered a series of major defects, including no proper heating, plumbing issues, and serious cleanliness problems—the driveway was full of moss and mold. Additionally, there were rats in the garden, an issue previously reported by neighbors and past tenants but never addressed.

Relocating is already stressful, but dealing with these unresolved problems, especially after being misinformed about the rat infestation, made it even worse. I was told there were no rats, yet they were still present in the garden.

The agents are polite when speaking, but despite my repeated calls and reports since day one, they have taken no action to resolve these serious issues.
