Not a very easy company to deal with the insurance once having an accident. They don’t clearly said what’s needed to resolve the claim, it took weeks and a formal complaint before knowing they won’t need anything else to decide the claim!!

After mailing them the requested documents, they won’t look at it proactively, I had to call them and ask!!

They offer cheaper insurance, case handing is not good when have an accident!

By the way, my claim was accepted at the end, but the process could have been much much faster and efficient.

Completely Disorganised Insurer
I called Geoffrey to notify of a no claim accident, I then had to report it to the underwriter directly and was given 3 incorrect contact numbers by the first member of staff I spoke to. When I finally got through to the underwriter, they took my report and confirmed there was no claim and my NCD would not be affected.

Two weeks later Geoffrey have still not resolved my "claim", so I've lost three years NCD and still received no policy refund! Had to speak to the Geoffrey team three separate times regarding this and have yet to receive any confirmation from their claims team despite the underwriter confirming TWO WEEKS PRIOR.

Never take a policy with Geoffrey. The staff are polite but clueless and the systems are a complete mess.

I had a frustrating experience with Geoffrey insurance. They wrongly charged me a £20 late payment fee for a payment that wasn’t even due for another 10 days. When I called to resolve the issue, I was kept on hold for over an hour which was costing me so in the end I put the phone down—an unacceptable amount of time for what was clearly their mistake.

This kind of poor service and lack of efficiency has left me very dissatisfied. I expect better transparency and care from an insurance provider. I hope they improve their processes to prevent situations like this in the future.

Absolutely shambles this company, had to change my number plate from my private one as I was getting a new car. Charged me £240 online so phoned up and said this should be about £25-40, there’s an error in the system. She confirmed I was correct. Later she said oh it will show as 2 transactions on your bank but only £25 would come out and she swore blind that 2 bank transactions wouldn’t go out… following day 2 bank transactions went out… £240 to change a number plate and then 8 days to get a refund on their mistakes!!

My wife insured her Seat Ateca for a grand total of 20 days before we decided to sell it. So with a cancellation fee of £45 plus some strange added policy costs totalling around £60 for 20 days insurance..the grand total was around £104. Not happy with this and their online chat simply dismissed her query on the cost. Best avoid these insurers.
Did get a call from their service team who refunded the cancellation costs so much improved service.

Please remember that customers are paying hundreds of pounds for your terrible services.

Staff are ineffective. I got cut off several times, staff lack knowlege and ill informed and the responses are non existent. I risk my policy being cancelled due to incompetence.

On top of this I complained and am being dealt with by a hugely patronising and out of touch complaints manager.

The lack of customer service is affecting my livelihood.

These people seriously need to be pulled up and take. To ask by the powers that be.

As a minimum there should be an audit of practices based on customer concerns.

They are a total disgrace and I’m being polite.

Luckily before I drive my car chek online data base my car is un insurance waited time and money with this 😡😡😡😡
