We have just returned from a wonderful stay here. Our beautiful lodge was Middle Thorne, which was amazing, you had everything you could need and spotlessly clean and private.
We used the hot tub each day after being out to the beach or walking, very relaxing. Our dog Coco also had a fab time on the beach 🐾
The garden was great, and all fenced and secure for our dog to run around.
The location was great, a 15 minute walk into Braunton, where you will find numerous shops, coffee shops and pubs.
Thankyou Sarah for the Prosecco, biscuits, milk and dog biscuits upon arrival, a very thoughtful touch.
We would love to return soon, could have stayed longer. 👍🐾❤️

Just got back from a wonderful stay at Great Field Lodges! The cabin was very clean, luxurious and comfortable and the lovely owner Sarah had thought of everything to provide the best stay. The hot tub was clean and simply beautiful, and such a bonus having the glass roof - I wish more places did this. An extra bonus for our pup Skye was the large enclosed garden so we had no worries about her having a sniff about whilst we were in the hot tub. The town has a lot to offer, we only stayed three nights so didn’t get to explore fully but we will definitely be back to do so. Gorgeous beaches nearby too, we went to Barricane beach where we found a treasure trove of sea glass and pottery! An amazing break away, thank you Great Field Lodges.

Absolutely loved our stay here in the Swanpool lodge. Beautiful cabin and filled with everything we needed. High chair and cot were provided for our 8 month old.

The place was clean and well equipped. Easy to access and incredibly secure garden for our dog to have a roam around.

Only minor issue is that the WiFi didn’t work indoors but TV was connected via Ethernet with all the usual on demand apps.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The photos don’t do it justice and Sarah was brilliant. Answered all our questions and helped with everything we needed.

we stayed here for may bank holiday weekend and could not have asked for more! the lodge was spacious, clean and really nicely decorated! the hot tub was constantly hot so can dip in and out whenever and we even had the surprise of the warm, outdoor shower! the little touches such as bubbly in the fridge and shortbread on arrival also added to the whole experience 🙂 I also can not finish this review without mentioning the lovely, generous sized private garden complete with a decked area, dining space and 2 sun loungers which we were lucky enough with the weather to take full advantage of! thank you for our wonderful stay 🙂

We love these lodges! They are stylish, well equipped, private and kept beautifully clean with extras such as prosecco left chilling in the fridge on arrival. They are located so close to the beautiful coast line of North Devon yet with the convenience of local shops, restaurants and takeaways just up the road. We highly recommend a stay here!

Absolutely beautiful cabin for two, very clean, very well equipped, there was also a dish washer. Iron, ironing board, and a hair dryer. Towels and dressing gowns were provided. Also, a nice welcome pack on arrival. Great place if you have a dog, too, as it has its own enclosed garden. The bed was very comfortable, very quiet and peaceful place even though it was on a farm you wouldn't know it. The hot tub was a highlight of our evenings, after a long day, very relaxing and very well lit. The owners Sarah and David were very helpful when needed. It is easily accessible for wheelchair access, with a ramp up to the property and a walk-in shower. Very close to Braunton Town and central to all places, i.e., Saunton sands and Braunton burrows. With Woolacombe, Ilfracombe, Combe Martin also within a 30-minute drive. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay here again, and we would definitely recommend 👍

Beautiful lodges, we like our privacy and stayed in Swanpool which we found to be perfect and not overlooked at all. The lodges have a very high end finish and are perfect for 2. Loved the hot tub which is covered so you can even use when the weather isn’t great. The garden was very secure for our dog. Great location, only a stones throw from Braunton, Saunton & Croyde with so many beautiful walks on the doorstep. Communication with Sarah was first class. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely stay in Hayditch Lodge in Staunton. Was welcomed with gifts for us and our dogs on arrival which was a lovely gesture. The Lodge was clean and spacious and the bathroom was amazing! We enjoyed the hot tub when the weather permitted , as although covered, you still got wet and there was nowhere to put things to stay dry. So was not always ok to go in it. However once we were in it, it was amazing relaxing and well deserved. It was the first time we have taken the dogs away and they loved it. We would stay again, thank you Sarah xx
