Absolute disgrace!!!!Took policy out through furniture village. Told EVERYTHING from simple stains to structural damage covered. I originally believed policy was through Furniture village but when I needed to claim I found out it was Guardsman who had it. Contacted them to be told my claim had been closed as they don't cover structural damage or general wear to foam & stains So please tell me what it is i paid for?Absolute scam of a company. I'd recommend avoiding at all costs!!!!

Shocking service ! Got the cover from DFS when brought my sofa. Made a claim on the 10/11/2024 and still on the 21/1/2025 my sofa has not been fixed when I ring up to ask what is going on get spoken to rudely on the phone. You are unable to book day and time for repairs aswell only told the night before that they will becoming 8am the next day.

I bought 2 Sofas from DFS. Who obviously persuade us to take out insurance with them. They did not even explain it will be via another company. They gave me the impression it’s under DFS!!!!!!

I contacted this company for stains on my sofa and they responded to my claim advising they are unable to stains build up. Which is not what I was told when I took out the bloody insurance. I paid around £200 for this, no policy certificate or info was sent to me. I tried to access it online but couldn’t see it.

Waste of £200 pounds. I will be cancelling my policy with them. I will be complaining to both Guardsman and DFS. I will be raising this on my social media platforms to raise awareness of how deceptive DFS and Guardsman have been.

It’s all a SCAM! As the other reviews have stated they will quote everything under the sun to avoid doing their job!

SCAMMERS! Even though we are fully insured and paid extra for the cleaning service, refused to fix or clean my sofa. Waste of time don't bother. Our claim was such a basic one also just need some stains removed from a food spillage. they refused for no real reason. SCAMMERS

Terrible company, i was told i could claim for any damage no matter what on the sofa. then they send me a PDF saying naaahhh sorry cant its breaches 4.1 what aload of rubbish it was pet damage and a stain that it says in big words they do

Avoid. After 6 months of waiting they still haven't sent the two cushion covers which I claimed for on my insurance. During this time I have received two incorrect deliveries. Communication is terrible. I have now had to refer it the Financial Ombudsman.

Feels like yet another one star rating for this company. My dog peed on my sofa. Doesn't happen often but accidents happen I guess. Contacted guardsman as had taken insurance for this exact purpose. Initially was told to try cleaning it which we did, cover is fine but I have large dog and inevitably the pee went into the foam filling, can't clean that. Told them and was sent a wipe at first... great, thanks. Following this they sent a cleaner... didn't think it would help but allowed to try... the guy takes one look at it and says he can't clean it. Thanks genius. Away he went, took some pictures which I had already sent. Now guardsman is saying they won't cover it because it's damage over time... what? How is one event damage over time? Funny how it only became unclaimable after your cleaner said he can't clean it isn't it? What a scam.

Absolutely robbing thieves.... Brought a sofa costing over £1500 from DFS sold the protection policy costing over £200.

After 4 years of a 5 year policy one of the main large back cushion zip breaks... Contact garudsman, who informed me that zips on a sofa aren't covered in the policy!!! Only fabric and structural damage.

After 10 weeks of waiting for the complaints procedure to go through, they still say even though the policy was sold as all parts covered, they would not repair the faulty zip...

Waste of money on this type of company just after your money.
