Excellent company to work with during our move - from quote through to moving day the team had incredibly helpful and kind customer service, and the moving crew were exceptional ensuring all furniture and boxes were moved with care, and immediately highlighted any concerns of existing damage in case they had caused - which they had not.

Hamiltons made our move and absolute breeze. Having moved with rented vans ourselves previously, Hamiltons took care of everything for us, and we were loaded, moved, and unloaded in a single day.

Not a single bad word to say. Thanks Hamiltons, and personal thanks to the whole team!

Used Hamiltons for a move abroad. I Paid over 200 Swiss Francs for them to get a parking permit to park on my street. Instead they never applied for the parking permit and just kept the money.

The delivery driver had to park far away on another street and was cross at me for not having the parking permit. I explained that I had paid Hamiltons for the parking permit. After the unloading I phoned Hamiltons and asked for a refund on permit I had paid them for. They said they would check. They then emailed me to say that a long carry costs less than a permit so from their view they did me a favour so would not be refunding me. They didn't even have the gall to tell me over the phone. It is shameful and sneaky.

Based on my poor experience I didn't use them to move my second batch of furniture as they are dishonest and I notice they are using fake reviews too.

Very impressed from initial visit to our completed removal. The whole team at Hamiltons were excellent, making the move from Suffolk to Hampshire as stress free as possible. The removal team were really friendly & professional , working with care with our belongings. We would thoroughly recommend Hamiltons.

From start to finish I can't fault Hamiltons. The initial visit to provide a quote was efficient and detailed.
I received the quote within days and a follow up call in case I had queries.
We were kept informed throughout the process. The removal men were respectful and effective and very tidy in the way they worked, both in clearing the 1st house and delivering to the new house. They couldn't have been more helpful.
I would definitely recommend Hamiltons.

Hamilton recently helped us move from Suffolk to Essex and I couldn’t praise them more highly. Mark and Josh did a part move the day before and worked incredibly hard making the actual day of the move seamless, they were friendly and professional, I couldn’t praise them any higher. They were joined the following day with Neil (sorry if that’s wrong it was a tiring day !) who was fantastic ensuring everyone was safely rehomed.! The only fly in the ointment was Jake who was abrasive and sullen, he very clearly didn’t want to be doing the job; a shame because everyone else was so friendly and helpful from the office staff to the other guys, he just let the side down. Nonetheless I would recommend Hamiltons without any reservation !

Hamiltons moved us from London to Switzerland in July 2024. We were very happy with the service provided. This was our first time moving households across borders and the team at Hamiltons were there to advise us on lots of issues in advance of moving. We felt we were in safe hands and the service was very 'human'. We could phone and get personal answers. Our belongings were loaded and packaged carefully and nothing was broken in transit. The delivery in Switzerland went very smoothly with the time of the lorry arrival properly flagged. The staff in the office and all the guys on the lorries were polite, friendly and efficient. If we need to move again, we will certainly use Hamiltons and will recommend them to others.

DO NOT use if you are storing or looking for an international move unless you want bad packaging and in some cases none (even on material blinds) and a number of things broken. Spent over £10k on a substandard service (supposed to be a full packing service) and no liability taken by the company at all. For professional removals I do not expect things thrown in a box with no wrapping with breakables. Also the insurance isn't worth the paper its written on so don't waste your money. You only need to go on Trustpilot to see the reviews of the insurer they use and how bad they are yet Hamiltons are willing to link themselves with them and its impossible to ever get a claim paid. Broken items were even hidden from us and pushed into new boxes by the delivery team - untrustworthy and uncaring of people's personal goods. Having worked managing clients I'm disgusted in what they call customer service. AVOID.

Very pleased with the service I have received from Hamiltons so far. The guys worked hard and my house was cleared in no time at all. My belongings were very well cared for, wrapped appropriately.
