Dealing with Harcourt White to rent our house has been our best experience as tenants, and we've lived in 10 houses all over the country using 9 different letting agents.

Kirsty has been friendly and professional throughout, and is really quick and helpful with her communication, so made every step much easier than usual.

Kirsty was recommended to us by several people we knew and they were all absolutely right about her. The property was marketed quickly, professionally and let all within 5 days. All potential tenants are vetted and checked and we have had no issues at all with the two sets of people we have had in. Any issues (we have had 2 leaks) have been dealt with swiftly and the tenants have been very happy with the response time and effeciency of the repair teams. I would not hesitate to recommend Kirsty and Latoya to anyone looking to rent their property in Cornwall.

Harcourt White Property have been the Management Company of our flats in Wadebridge for over a year now, the flats were previously overseen by the Landlord.

The service that Harcourt White provide is impeccable, nothing is too much trouble, requests for maintenance or a general enquiry are dealt with; with utmost efficiency and professionalism. Kirsty is our main point of contact, she is fantastic! She replies to any communication within an hour, deals with the issue diligently and follows up with a courtesy call make sure the issue has been dealt with or the problem has been rectified.

I would happily recommend Kirsty and her team to any prospective client; as a Tennant in the flats it is comforting to know we are being looked after by a caring management company that has our interest at heart. Thank you.

We have used Harcourt White to fully manage our properties for the last few years and have found the service that they give is second to none. They are through with the finding of tenants and do there utmost for us as landlords and tenants alike. When we have had queries on anything Kirsty has been on hand. Worst experience ever.
Harcourt White must be great for landlords, however not even close as a tenant.
Very inexperienced at single let and didn't even know the basics for electrical safety certificates, which I had to tell them.
Took over 12 months to get a leaking roof repaired, over 12 months to replace a defective light fitting.
The crunch was when the upstairs toilet leaked then flooded the house.
This blew the electrics and flooded the main area of the house. There was no electricity for several days, Harcourt White left us there with three children expecting us to live there.
When we pointed out that it was the landlords obligation to relocate us until it was suitable to live in, they walked away and disregarded their obligation to re-home us, only giving us the option to pay them for one of their other properties, despite having already paid that months rent. They didn't reduce the rent, until we had to fight hard to get them to agree to anything.
We had to sleep with the kids on the lounge floor for 3 days until a friend put us up.
We lost all of our clothing, bedding and curtains etc, which the insurance company took away.
When we could return to the house, we were expected to live there with all of the industrial drying and dehumidifier equipment running 24/7, which was like trying to sleep on a building site.
It took over 12 months for the house to get completed back to normal and took months for us to be reimbursed for the several hundred pounds of electricity bills, for all of the industrial drying and dehumidifier equipment.
The bedrooms were full of black mould, which is quite relevent at present. Exectly as has recently reported, despite continuous reports and photographs of the black mould around ours and our children's bedrooms, they told us to just open a window!! In the middle of winter.
They ignored this and never addressed it.
After leaving this house of horrors, we had a short term rent with Marshalls, where they and the landlord, were a whole different experience and actually cared.
They restored my faith in renting.
Avoid Harcourt White, like the plague!!

A friend and I have both been blocked for posting on their Facebook page about their blatant negligence concerning a severely disabled tenant of theirs we know, it's also odd that in a world where people can delete and block commenters and reviewers statements at will that they only seem to have 5* reviews as well, I'm going to screenshot this after I post it and see how long it takes for the truth to once again be deleted by these people ?
